Drapes for ophthalmic surgery have conventionally had a structure in which a hole for exposing the affected area is provided in a sheet-like member (linen, nonwoven fabric, etc.) that covers the face.

The drape is made of a water-absorbing material (e.g., cotton cloth) so that the liquid can soak into it. or (b) the drape was made of a water-repellent material (for example, a synthetic resin non-woven fabric) to allow the liquid to flow down to the bottom of the operating table.

It comes with the problem of being constrained. There is also the risk of accidentally overturning the container.

In order to achieve the above object, the drape of the present invention is an ophthalmological drape in which an affected area exposure hole is provided in a sheet-like member having a shape and size sufficient to cover the face, and an adhesive layer is formed on one side of the area around the affected area exposure hole. In a surgical drape, a water-receiving bag is made of a flexible, water-impermeable sheet-like material, and the water-receiving bag is positioned on the opposite side of the surface on which the adhesive layer is provided, so that the entrance edge of the water-receiving bag is exposed to the affected area. The water-receiving bag is attached along the edge of the hole, and a plastically deformable rod-like or band-like member is attached along the edge of the water-receiving bag, and the water-receiving bag is attached to the affected area exposure hole. The shape has a concave edge corresponding to a part of the periphery.

When the adhesive layer provided on one side of the drape with a water-receiving bag configured as described above is pasted around the eyes, the water-receiving bag appears on the outside of the drape, and its entrance opens into the affected area exposure hole. In this state, the inlet of the water-receiving bag can be shaped into a desired shape by appropriately bending a plastically deformable rod-shaped or band-shaped member (for example, a ribbon made of aluminum or extremely mild steel thin plate) by hand.

となる。 When a water-receiving bag is provided in a general-purpose covering cloth, the flow direction of the fluid to be contained in the water-receiving bag is undefined, but in ophthalmic surgery, fluid that overflows from the affected eye always flows toward the cheek or temple. If the water-receiving bag has a concave edge facing a part of the affected area exposure hole as in the above-mentioned configuration, a rational structure with no waste can be obtained.

The annular water-receiving bag in the draft plan of FIG. 2 is made into a half-split shape, and as shown in FIG. A half-circular or horseshoe-shaped water receiving bag 8 having an inlet edge 8a is constructed.

(Blood, washing fluid, tears, etc.) always flows down toward the patient's cheeks or temples, but never up toward the bridge of the nose. The semicircular water receiving bag 8 in the illustrated embodiment is sufficient. According to the structure of this embodiment, the structure is simpler and the manufacturing cost is lower than that of the prototype shown in FIG.
