[Prior art] Conventionally, an O 2 sensor has been placed protruding into the exhaust manifold, and a pneumatic air control valve that introduces atmospheric air directly into the intake manifold has been placed in the intake manifold . 2. Description of the Related Art An air-fuel ratio control device for an engine is known in which a voltage waveform to be applied to an electric air control valve is determined based on a signal from a sensor, and the electric air control valve is opened and closed based on this voltage waveform. In such an engine air-fuel ratio control device, electric power is used to improve engine speed stability and acceleration performance during engine idling when the engine is idling near the throttle valve fully closed state and near the throttle valve fully open state and under high load. The air-fuel ratio control is stopped by fully closing the air control valve.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in such an engine air-fuel ratio control device, the air-fuel ratio is adjusted under the same conditions when the throttle valve is near the fully closed state and near the fully open state, regardless of whether it is cold or warm. Since the control is stopped, a problem has arisen in that an air-fuel mixture with an unnecessarily rich air-fuel ratio is supplied to the engine when the engine is warm, resulting in poor fuel efficiency. In other words, in warm conditions, although the air-fuel ratio can be operated without problems as much as in cold conditions, air-fuel ratio control is stopped under the same throttle valve opening conditions as in cold conditions, resulting in lower fuel consumption. It gets worse.

It is connected to the control circuit 20 through a parallel circuit consisting of a zero temperature switch 18 and a delay circuit 28. The control circuit 20 includes a lean constant circuit 20a, a rich constant circuit 20b, an integration circuit 20f, and the like.

The operation of this embodiment will be explained below. The negative pressure generated in the advance port 24 changes depending on the throttle opening as shown in FIG. The negative pressure switch 26 outputs a signal of 1 when the negative pressure is above a predetermined negative pressure (for example, 100 mmHg), and outputs a signal of 0 when the negative pressure is less than the predetermined negative pressure.

When the signal from the negative pressure switch 26 is 1, the control circuit 20 outputs a control signal to the electromagnetic coil 8b based on the air-fuel ratio signal from the O 2 sensor 4, and performs feedback control of the air-fuel ratio as in the conventional case. . That is, when the air-fuel ratio signal from the O 2 sensor indicates rich, a lean constant KL is added by the lean constant circuit 20a and input to the integration circuit 20f. Further, when the air-fuel ratio signal from the O 2 sensor 4 indicates lean, a richening constant KR is added by the Lynching constant circuit 20b and input to the integrating circuit 20f. The integration circuit 20f integrates the signals input from the lean constant circuit 20a and the rich constant circuit 20b and outputs a control signal to the electromagnetic coil 8b of the electric air control valve 8. The control signal at this time is shown in FIG. On the other hand, when the signal from the negative pressure switch 26 is 0, that is, less than the predetermined negative pressure,
An air-fuel ratio control stop signal is input from the control circuit 20 to the electromagnetic coil 8b, and the current is cut off, so that the electric air control valve 8 is closed.

Here, when the engine temperature is higher than a predetermined value, the temperature switch 18 is turned off, and the signal output from the negative pressure switch 26 is transmitted to the delay circuit 2.
8, the signal is input to the control circuit 20 with a predetermined time delay. Therefore, in an idling state and a high load state, the air-fuel ratio control is stopped after a delay of a predetermined time T, and in other steady states, the air-fuel ratio control is stopped based on the air-fuel ratio signal from the O 2 sensor 4. It is done.

On the other hand, since the temperature switch 18 is turned on during cold conditions, the signal from the negative pressure switch 26 bypasses the delay circuit 28 and is directly input to the control circuit 20. As a result, when the negative pressure in the intake manifold 6 is above a predetermined value, air-fuel ratio control is performed in the normal state, but when the throttle valve 22 is fully closed or close to fully open during acceleration or deceleration, the air-fuel ratio control is delayed. Air-fuel ratio control is immediately stopped without any warning. In this way, immediately stopping air-fuel ratio control without providing a delay time in cold conditions is
This is because air-fuel ratio control during acceleration and deceleration in a cold state causes engine stall and engine suffocation.

As a result, by delaying the stop of air-fuel ratio control during warm times compared to cold times, unnecessary air-fuel ratio enrichment during warm times can be prevented, and fuel efficiency can be improved.

A second negative pressure switch 30 with a higher set pressure is connected. The negative pressure switch 30 is connected to one input terminal of an AND circuit 32 via the temperature switch 18, and the negative pressure switch 26 is connected to the other input terminal of the AND circuit 32. The output terminal of the AND circuit 32 is connected to the control circuit 20. Here, the set pressure of the negative pressure switch 26 is, for example, 100 mmHg, and the set pressure of the negative pressure switch 30 is, for example, 300 mmHg.

The operation of this embodiment will be explained below. The negative pressure generated in the advance port 24 is as indicated by α shown in FIG. 6, and the negative pressure generated in the second port 28 is as indicated by β in FIG. Therefore, throttle valve 2
As the opening degree of 2 increases, the negative pressure switch 26
and 30 detect the negative pressure in the intake manifold 6, and a signal of 1 is output from the negative pressure switch 26 at, for example, 100 mmHg, and a signal of 1 is output from the negative pressure switch 30 at, for example, 300 mmHg. Here, in the warm time, the temperature switch 18
Since the negative pressure switch 30 is off, the signal from the negative pressure switch 30 is not input to the AND circuit 32. Therefore, the air-fuel ratio control and air-fuel ratio control stop are performed only by the signal from the negative pressure switch 26. That is, when the negative pressure in the intake manifold 6 is higher than a predetermined pressure, a signal of 1 is output from the negative pressure switch 26, and hence the AND circuit 32, and the air-fuel ratio is controlled in the same way as usual. On the other hand, when the negative pressure in the intake manifold 6 is less than the predetermined pressure, a signal of 0 is output from the negative pressure switch 26 and therefore the AND circuit 32, so that the control circuit 20 sends the electric air control valve 8 to the air-fuel ratio. A stop signal is output and the electric air control valve 8 is brought into a fully closed state.

Since the temperature switch 18 is turned on during the cold state, in addition to the above-mentioned control during the warm state, air-fuel ratio control or air-fuel ratio control is performed in response to a 1 or 0 signal from the negative pressure switch 30. By providing the negative pressure switch 26 and the negative pressure switch 30 in this way, air-fuel ratio control is stopped when the pressure is less than the set pressure of the negative pressure switch 26 and less than the set pressure of the negative pressure switch 30.

Next, the operation of the present invention will be explained. Since the temperature switching valve 36 is opened during cold conditions, the negative pressure P 2 generated at the second port 28 acts on the diaphragm chamber of the negative pressure switching valve 40 via the temperature switching valve 36 . In this case,
As shown in FIG. 8, when the negative pressure (P 2 ) acting on the diaphragm chamber of the negative pressure switching valve 40 is lower than the set pressure P 0 of the negative pressure switching valve 40, the B pipe and the C pipe are connected. When the atmospheric air acts on the negative pressure switch 34 and the atmospheric pressure is lower than the set pressure P3 of the negative pressure switch 34, a signal of 0 is output from the negative pressure switch 34 and the air-fuel ratio control is stopped. On the other hand, when the negative pressure P 2 generated in the second port 28 is higher than the set pressure P 0 of the negative pressure switching valve 40, the A pipe and the B pipe communicate with each other, and the negative pressure of the advance port 24 is transferred to the negative pressure switch 34. acts. Therefore, a negative pressure higher than the set pressure D3 of the negative pressure switch 34 acts on the negative pressure switch 34, and a signal of 1 is output from the negative pressure switch 34, thereby controlling the air-fuel ratio. Therefore, in the cold state, the second port 28
Air-fuel ratio control is performed only when the negative pressure is higher than the set pressure P 0 of the negative pressure switching valve 40.

On the other hand, in the warm state, the temperature switching valve 36 is closed, so the negative pressure switching valve 40
A high negative pressure is applied to the diaphragm chamber through the check valve 38. Therefore, in the negative pressure switching valve 40, the A pipe and the C pipe are always in communication state,
The negative pressure of the advance port 24 acts directly on the negative pressure switch 36. In this case, the negative pressure P 1 of the advance port 24 is the set pressure of the negative pressure switch 34.
When the pressure exceeds P3 , a signal of 1 is output from the negative pressure switch 34, and air-fuel ratio control is performed.

Next, a fourth embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG.
In FIG. 9, parts corresponding to those in FIG. 7 are designated by the same reference numerals, and their explanation will be omitted. In this embodiment, a temperature switching valve filled with thermowax is used instead of the temperature switching valve of the third embodiment, and a negative pressure port is provided on the downstream side of the throttle valve instead of the second port. As shown in the figure, the temperature switching valve 42 includes a thermowax 42a and a valve body 42b.As the thermowax 42a expands and contracts depending on the engine temperature, the valve body 42b moves to switch between the D pipe and the E pipe. and the F tube are configured to be in communication with each other. The D pipe of the temperature switching valve 42 is connected to the A pipe of the negative pressure switching valve 40, and the E pipe of the temperature switching valve 42 is connected to the atmosphere through a pipe provided with an orifice, and the E pipe of the negative pressure switching valve 40 is connected to the atmosphere. The F pipe of the temperature switching valve 42 connected to the diaphragm chamber is connected to a negative pressure port 44 bored in the intake manifold 6. Further, the B pipe of the negative pressure switching valve 40 is connected to the advance port 24, and the C pipe of the negative pressure switching valve 40 is connected to the control circuit 20 via the negative pressure switch 34.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained. In the cold state, the valve body 42 of the temperature switching valve 42
b is located in the state shown in FIG. 9, and communicates between the E tube and the F tube. Therefore, the negative pressure generated in the negative pressure port 44 acts on the diaphragm chamber of the negative pressure switching valve 40 via the temperature switching valve 42. At this time, if the negative pressure acting on the diaphragm chamber is higher than the set pressure P 0 of the negative pressure switching valve 40,
The BB pipe and C pipe of the negative pressure switching valve 40 communicate with each other, and the negative pressure of the advance port 24 acts on the negative pressure switch 34 via the negative pressure switching valve 40. Further, when the negative pressure acting on the diaphragm chamber is higher than the set pressure P 0 of the negative pressure switching valve 40, the A pipe and C pipe of the negative pressure switching valve 40 communicate with each other, and the atmospheric pressure changes to the temperature switching valve 42. The D pipe acts on the negative pressure switch 34 via the negative pressure switching valve 40. As a result, as shown in FIG. 10, air-fuel ratio control is stopped when the negative pressure acting on the negative pressure switch 34 is lower than the set pressure P3 of the negative pressure switch 34, and when it is high, that is, in the medium load region. , air-fuel ratio control is performed.

On the other hand, in the warm state, the valve body 42b of the temperature switching valve 42 is located in the state shown in FIG.
The pipe and F pipe are communicated with each other. Further, atmospheric pressure acts on the diaphragm chamber of the negative pressure switching valve 40, and the A pipe and C pipe of the negative pressure switching valve 40 are communicated with each other. Therefore, the negative pressure of the negative pressure port 44 acts on the negative pressure switch 34 via the temperature switching valve 42 and the negative pressure switching valve 40, and as shown in FIG. When the pressure is higher than the set pressure P 3 of the negative pressure switch 34, air-fuel ratio control is performed, and when it is lower than the set pressure P 3 , the air-fuel ratio control is stopped.
