Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はメモリカードにおけるシステム側メモリカード
受コネクタに関する。
〔従来の技術〕
メモリをカード内に搭載した。メモリカードが携帯に便
利な外部メモリとして使用されるようになってきている
。このメモリカードをシステムと接続する方法は種々あ
るが、例えば各メーカのカタログに示される様な、多ピ
ンのコネクタが使用されることが多い。このコネクタ部
でシステムと接続する為、このコネクタ部の挿抜寿命が
１問題となるが、現状この回数は１万回程度である。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
上記従来技術では、メモリカード側としては、はぼ十分
と見なせるが、多数のカードが接続される可能性のある
システム側のメモリカード受コネクタの挿抜による寿命
について配慮がされておらず、メモリカードの挿抜によ
り、メモリカード受コネクタが、摩耗、強度低下に至り
、接触不良となる問題があった。この場合システム側の
コネクタを交換する必要があるが、半田付されている為
、交換は容易ではない。
本発明はシステム側メモリカード受コネクタの寿命に対
する対策に目的としており、さらにメモリカードとシス
テム間の接触不良による誤動作を防止することを目的と
する。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
上記目的を達成するために、メモリカードが挿入される
システム側のメモリカード受コネクタを着脱できる構造
としたものである。
〔作　用〕
メモリカードを有するシステムにおいて、ある期間メモ
リカードを使用して摩耗したメモリカード受コネクタを
、新しいコネクタと交換する。
これにより、メモリカードとシステム間で、常に水準以
上の品質を保持し接触不良による誤動作を防止すること
ができる。
〔実施例〕
以下、本発明の一実施例を第１図、第２図により説明す
る。第１図は着脱式メモリカード受コネクタを使用した
斜視図、第２図はその側面図である。メモリカード１を
有するシステム２においてメモリカード受コネクタ３は
着脱式となっている。
ある期間メモリカード１を使用して、メモリカード受コ
ネクタ３が摩耗した場合１着脱式となっているメモリカ
ード受コネクタ３をシステム２より外し、新しいメモリ
カード受コネクタ３を装着する。このメモリカード受コ
ネクタ３の交換により、メモリカード１とシステム２間
の結合が、常に品質が保たれ、接触不良による誤動作を
予防。
防止する効果が得られる。
本実施例は、ツーピースコネクタメモリカードに使用す
る例で示したが、カードエツジタイプメモリカードにつ
いても同様に実施できる。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明によれば、メモリカードのコネクタに比べ、挿抜
の頻度の大きいシステム側のコネクタの交換ができるの
で、常に安定した品質を得る効果がある。

クタを使用した斜視図、第２図はその側面図である。 １・・・メモリカード、２・・・システム、３・・・メ

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １．メモリカードを有するシステムにおいて、メモリカ
    ード受部のコネクタを２重化し、一方を着脱可能とする
    ことを特徴とするメモリカード受コネクタ。
