(Therefore, there is a problem that it needs to be replaced frequently. In particular, return type cleaners scrape off stubborn deposits that could not be scraped off by head type cleaners, so there is a serious problem that the amount of wear is extremely high. Furthermore, when the cleaner member is made of carbide, there is another problem that the belt cleaner is not easy to handle because the specific gravity of the carbide is large.

However, in this case, there are problems with the bonding method and bonding strength between the metal substrate and the ceramic. For example, when bonding is done with adhesive, the bonding strength decreases due to natural deterioration of the adhesive, There is a problem that the service life of the product is shortened. Also, in order to improve this,
Japanese Patent Publication No. 1-15445 proposes a method of metallizing ceramics, bringing the metallized surface into a molten state, and joining it to a preheated metal substrate. According to this method, the service life is longer than when bonding with the above-mentioned adhesive, but the bond strength between the metal substrate and the ceramic is weak, and the ceramic is likely to peel off during use, resulting in a longer service life. The problem is that it is short and insufficient.

The main component of the sintered body is the above-mentioned hard particles, and microscopically it consists of a hard phase formed by the hard particles and a bonding metal for the hard phase.Normally, the sintered body is processed into a product shape. However, after sintering, the product may be processed after being further pressurized using a hot isostatic pressure device.

It has high hardness and high toughness, and therefore has extremely excellent wear resistance. In addition, it has much better corrosion resistance than conventional cleaner members made of special steel or carbide. In addition, since cermet contains a metal component, it has good brazing properties with metal (relatively strong bonding strength can be obtained by brazing bonding). When used for cleaning, wear and corrosion of the cleaner members is less likely to occur, and therefore the amount of wear can be significantly reduced.
Furthermore, the bonding strength with the metal substrate can be increased, resulting in a longer service life.

By doing so, the toughness of the cermet is further improved, and therefore, the wear resistance is further improved, and the propagation of cracks is more easily inhibited, so that the life of the cermet is increased accordingly.
