置内、加熱装置内でカットシートが存在しないにも拘わ
らず装置がそれぞれの動作をしていることになり、時間
的にも動力費的にも無駄であった。又、一般的な連続式
真空戒形機は多品種少量生産に対応すべく複数のロール
シートを段替できるようになっており、戒形者は段替の
必要性を感じると速やかに段替を実行しなければならな
いが成形装置内にカットシートが無いことを知ってから
段替作業に従事しなければならず、段替時間に手間取る
欠点があった。段替とは製造業者での専門用語であり、
比較的大きな装置、製品を扱う業者が用いる用語であり
、生産目的、保全目的などにより装置、型、材料、治工
具などを交換、取り外しすることをいう。理想的な段替
はタクトタイム内に完了させ生産を停止させないことで
ある。しかしながら従来法では戒形者がロールシートの
消費を知るためには成形装置内にシート材が無いことを
知ってから段替しており時間的、動力費的に不利であり

シートを作る。光電管の光軸と切断刃との距離かみット
シ一トの所定の艮さとなる。ガイドシューターにスリツ
1・7を設け、このスリットに光軸8が通るよう光電管
9を設置する。光電管9は4
光電管5と連動し切断刃との距離が同じになるよう移動
可能な構造をしている。つまり光電管5を切断刃に近づ
けると同じ距離光電管9も切断刃に近づく。ロールシー
トの泪費が進み最後に所定の長さがとれなくなった時、
ロールシートの後端は光電管9と切断刃の間にある。こ
の時光電管9は光軸8をロールシートが遮断しなくなっ
