(実開昭55−83293号公報)。(B) Conventional technology Conventionally, electric fans that control the rotation of the fan motor in response to changes in room temperature have set a comfortable room temperature, and when the room temperature is higher than the set room temperature (hereinafter referred to as set temperature), It operates continuously, and conversely, if the room temperature is lower than the set temperature, the operation is stopped. The room temperature during operation is shown to the user by a temperature display installed on the base of the fan, and the user can also determine the optimal air flow rate (Utility Model Publication No. 83293/1983). ).

る。 First, when the temperature detection operation switch 8 is operated,
The air volume adjustment circuit 14 outputs a signal to the room temperature detection operation indicator 9 to activate the room temperature detection operation indicator 9. The room temperature detection operation indicator 9 may be, for example, a miniature bulb, and may be turned on during the room temperature detection operation (indicated by X in FIG. 3C) and off at other times. The room temperature detection operation display 9 or a liquid crystal display displaying characters such as "operating" may be used. The electrical signal from the room temperature detection means 10 is successively compared with the set temperature in the temperature comparison circuit 13. At this time, if the electrical signal output by the room temperature detection means 10 matches the set temperature, the temperature comparison circuit 13 outputs an air volume switching signal to the air volume adjustment circuit 14. The air volume adjustment circuit 14 operates the fan motor drive circuit 15 in order to rotate the fan motor 1 at the air volume selected by the air volume switching signal. In this embodiment, there are 10 temperature settings ranging from 25°C to 34°C at intervals of 1°C, and the air volume is set to correspond to each room temperature. Therefore, as shown in Figure 3A, if the room temperature is, for example, about 28°C, the air volume is as follows, with the smallest air volume being notch 1 and the maximum air volume being notch 10.
It starts at notch 4 and switches every time the room temperature rises by 1°C, and when the room temperature exceeds 34°C, it operates continuously at notch 10, which is the maximum air volume. Conversely, when the room temperature gradually decreases, the air volume decreases accordingly, and when the room temperature drops below 25°C, the operation is stopped. During this time, as the air volume is switched, the air volume at that time is displayed on the display means 11. FIG. 3C shows an enlarged view of the operation panel 6. The display means 11 is, for example, a light emitting diode array, which is divided into 10 equal parts corresponding to the air volume.
One of the equally divided elements lights up. That is, if the airflow rate is set to notch 5, for example, five elements of the display means 11 will light up from the left side (indicated by X in the figure). This also indicates that the room temperature is 29°C, and since the air volume corresponding to the set temperature is determined by the temperature comparison circuit 13, it also serves as a temperature display.

のである。 In the above embodiments, the air volume was adjusted in stages for room temperature (stepped air volume adjustment).
If a phase control method using a thyristor or the like is used in the fan motor drive circuit 15, the air volume can be adjusted steplessly in accordance with changes in room temperature (stepless air volume adjustment). In this case, the display means 11 is not divided into 10 equal parts, but is divided into even smaller parts.

In this case, the air volume changes in steps each time the operation setting switch is operated, and by checking the display means, the air volume can always be operated at an appropriate air volume.
