実施例
回転及び角度割出し可能な主軸1の先端には爪
交換可能なチヤツク2が固着されている。このチ
ヤツク2は中心部に生爪成形用のプラグ3を有し
ており、このプラグ3を出し入れする作動棒4は
主軸1の貫通穴に挿通されていて主軸後部の駆動
源(図示せず)に連結されている。また主軸1の
貫通穴には前記作動棒4を覆うスリーブ5が挿通
されていて、前端はチヤツク2内の公知の爪作動
機構と結合している。そしてスリーブ5の後端は
主軸後部の爪作動用駆動源(図示せず)に連結さ
れている。主軸台前面でチヤツク2の側部にはブ
ラケツトを介してシリンダピストン装置6が取付
けられている。チヤツク2内では3ケ所に放射方
向に摺動可能に爪7が取付けられていて、爪7の
背面にはラツクが刻設されている。そしてこの爪
7のラツクとかみ合う傾斜ラツクを有したラツク
体8が主軸々線に直角な面内で摺動可能に設けら
れている。ラツク体8には傾斜カム面9が削設さ
れていて、前記シリンダピストン装置6のピスト
ンロツド10先端にて、この傾斜カム面9に当接
しているピン部を押圧してラツク体8を摺動させ
前記ラツクのかみ合いを解除させることが出来る
ものである。旋盤のベツド11上を主軸々線に平
行に移動する断面三角状の往復台12の上面には
主軸々線に直角な方向に移動可能に横送り台13
が載置されている。横送り台13上にはタレツト
刃物台14が旋回割出し可能に取付けられてい
て、工具取付面には工具シヤンクを嵌入させる穴
が設けられている。旋盤の心押台側のベツド11
端部には垂直面内にて回動するチエーン式の工具
マガジン15が配設されていて、各種の工具が収
容されている。旋盤本体の上部には工具マガジン
15とタレツト刃物台14との両部を連結するレ
ール16が架設されていて、キヤリア17がこの
レール16上を走行できるように取付けられてい
る。キヤリア17には工具を保持するレデイステ
ーシヨン18が固着されていて、工具の搬送を行
なう。また工具マガジン15とレデイステーシヨ
ン18との間で工具の受渡しを行なうサブアーム
装置19がブラケツト20によつてベツド11に
取付けられている。このサブアーム装置19には
工具を把持するグリツパ21が主軸々線方向及び
主軸々線と直角な方向に移動できるように設けら
れている。更に工具マガジン15とタレツト刃物
台14との間の位置にレデイステーシヨン18と
タレツト刃物台14との間で工具の受渡しを行な
う交換アーム装置22が設けられている。この交
換アーム装置22は両端に工具把持用のグリツパ
を有し主軸々線方向に移動できるとともに180度
旋回できるように構成されている。工具マガジン
15内には通常の切削加工用の工具の他にチヤツ
クの爪を保持した爪ホルダ23が適数個収容され
ている。そして1つの爪ホルダ23には3個1組
の交換用爪7がばね24に押圧されているボール
25により位置ずれしないように保持されて取付

物台14を主軸と直角方向に移動させると爪は爪

により保持されてチヤツク2から抜け出る。この
ようにしてチヤツク2内の第1の爪7を空の爪ホ
ルダ23′に移し替える。その後主軸1に順次120
度づつ角度割出しを行なわせて第2,第3の爪も
爪ホルダ23′に収容する。次いでタレツト刃物
台14の旋回割出しにより新しい爪を保持した爪
ホルダ23をチヤツク2側へ割出し位置決めして
上記と逆に爪ホルダ23に収容している新しい爪
をチヤツク2に移し替える。チヤツク2への新し
い爪の取付けが完了するとタレツト刃物台14の
2つの爪ホルダ23,23′は工具マガジン15
へ返却し、変更した新しい爪を切削する工具を工
具マガジン15からタレツト刃物台14へ移す。
そして作動棒4を摺動させてプラグ3を前進させ
た後、スリーブ5を摺動させて新しい爪にてプラ
グ3をクランプ状態にさせ、タレツト刃物台14
に取付けた爪切削用工具にてチヤツク2に取付け

いて任意の爪ホルダをタレツト刃物台に移し主軸
チヤツクの爪を定角度位置に割出しタレツト刃物
台を数値制御で移動させることによつてチヤツク
の爪と爪ホルダの爪とを順次自動交換するように
なしたことを特徴とするチヤツクの爪交換方法。1.
