【発明の詳細な説明】 〔概　要〕 磁性記録媒体の作製法に関し、 垂直磁化膜と面内磁化膜とを有する磁性記録媒体をより
簡素化されたスパッタリング法で作製する方法を提供す
ることを目的とし、 少なくとも一つの面内磁化膜を、垂直磁化膜形成用のタ
ーゲットと同一のターゲットを用い、そして酸素、窒素
又は水を含有しているスパッタガスを使用して形威する
ように構戒する。
〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は、磁性記録媒体の作製法に関する。更に詳しく
言えば、本発明は、多層膜構造を有する磁性記録媒体を
スパッタリング法で作製する方法に関する。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １．垂直磁化膜と面内磁化膜とを有する磁性記録媒体を
    スパッタリング法により作製する方法において、少なく
    とも一つの面内磁化膜を、垂直磁化膜形成用のターゲッ
    トと同一のターゲットを用い、そして酸素、窒素又は水
    を含有しているスパッタガスを使用して形成することを
    特徴とする磁性記録媒体の作製方法。
