Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce the subject two different kinds of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape articles a comparatively high speed and at a low cost by carrying out a quick coating of a pressure-sensitive adhesive on respective different base sheets for the first and second articles using a specified continuous processing line. CONSTITUTION:The first base sheet (S10) for the first article is unwound from the first unwinder 1, subjected to coating on the release surface thereof using the first pressure-sensitive adhesive coater 2, then dried and subsequently supplied onto a transfer unit 4. On the other hand, the second base sheet (S20) for the second article is unwound from the second unwinder 7 and supplied onto the above mentioned transfer unit 4. The pressure-sensitive adhesive on the above mentioned first base sheet (S11) is then transferred onto the above mentioned second base sheet (S20) here and the resultant original raw fabric- state base sheet is then coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive and wound around the first winder 6.
