That is, in an electric carpet in which linear heating elements 1 are arranged in a meandering manner on a heat insulating material 3 and covered with a surface material 2, a temperature display label 9 which is heat-sensitively coated is placed on an arbitrary part of the upper surface of the surface material 2. The purpose is to visually recognize the temperature of the surface of the electric carpet.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, in the above configuration, a temperature display label coated with heat-sensitive paint is provided at any location on the electric carpet body on which a heating element is arranged, so the temperature display label is The carpet is attached to the main body of the carpet, which creates convex portions on the surface, making it inconvenient to use and sometimes peeling off or turning up during use. In addition, if the display label is installed at the end of the main body, the electric car vent has a large time constant, so it is difficult to transmit changes in the amount of heat generated by the heating element, so the response of the display label is slow, and the heating element does not reach the end of the main body. It is said that the cost will be higher if you place it and attach a label there! I had a problem.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above problems, the planar heating device of the present invention is an electric planar heating device such as an electric carpet, and a reversible temperature-sensitive color changing material is individually attached to the main heat generating part and the external surface. The main heat generating part and the partial heat generating part are constructed by using the same heating element and changing the wiring density, and the partial heat generating part has a power density at least equal to or higher than that of the main heat generating part. This is what I did.
