However, blow molding is used to mold hollow containers such as bottles. There is also the problem that the molding efficiency is poor because it is only used in the following cases and only one molded body can be obtained in one molding cycle. On the other hand, the method in which the parison is rolled out into a sheet, rolled up, heated and softened again, and then molded has the problem that it is inferior to the blow molding method in terms of thermal energy usage efficiency, and also Since the sheet needs to be rolled up and rolled up, there is a problem in that an extra step of cutting the sides of the sheet is required.

Form 8b. As the thermoplastic synthetic resin, thermoplastic synthetic resins commonly used for sheet molding can be used, such as olefin resins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-propylene copolymer, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, etc. Examples include polystyrene and polyvinyl chloride.

The sheets 8a and 8 are positioned between the left and right side molds 2.3 and the intermediate mold 1, and the sheets 8a and 8 are formed by the left and right side molds 2.3 and the intermediate mold 1, respectively.
After sandwiching the sheets 8a and 8b, compressed air is blown through the air hole 5 of the intermediate mold 1 to air-form the sheets 8a and 8b into a shape corresponding to the molding recesses 2a s 2b. Then, it is cooled to obtain a molded body. In this way, two molded products can be obtained at the same time in one molding operation.

形を行うことができる。As explained above, the mold of the present invention has a configuration in which left and right side molds sandwiching the intermediate mold are provided, and compressed air can be blown from the intermediate mold into the left and right side molds. The molding method involves extruding molten thermoplastic resin through an annular die at the tip of an extruder to form two sheets with parisons cut open, and while these sheets are in a softened state, each sheet is inserted into the middle of the mold. Since we adopted a method in which each sheet is compressed by sandwiching it between the mold and the left and right side molds, and then blowing compressed air from the intermediate mold, it is possible to mold the left and right sheets at the same time in - times of molding. In addition to being highly efficient in forming, we adopted a method in which extrusion from an extruder and forming are performed continuously, and the forming is performed while the parison sheet is still in a softened state.
Compared to the method of rolling up a sheet cut out of a parison and then heating and softening the sheet again to form it, this method is more efficient in using thermal energy, and also eliminates the need for a side-cutting process to form a sheet of a predetermined width, resulting in more efficient forming. It can be performed.
