質が左右されやすく、また作業に時間がかかるという問
題がある。
そこで近年、管の溶接を自動的に行う溶接機を用いて溶
接作業の自動化を図ることが提案されているが、上述し
たスタブ管2a、2bをボイラヘッダlに溶接する場合
には、各スタブ管2a。
2bの曲率に対応して溶接機を支持することができる支
持装置が必要となる。
本発明は配管の溶接を行う溶接機を、各種形状の配管に
支持させることができる溶接機の支持装置を提供するこ
とを目的としている。
[課題を解決するための手段]
本発明は主支持アームの一端に、配管を把持可能な第1
のクランプの基部と副支持アームの基部とを、前記第1
のクランプ及び副支持アームが同一面内を回動し得るよ
うに支持し、前記副支持アームの先端部に、配管を把持
可能な第2のクランプの基部を、該第2のクランプが前
記第1のクランプの回動面内を回動し得るように支持し
、前記主支持アームの他端に溶接機と連結可能な溶接機
連結部材を、前記両クランプの回動面内を回動し得るよ
うに支持し、前記両クランプ、副支持アーム、溶接機連
結部材の各回動支持部を固定する固定具を設けたもので
ある。
[作 用]
配管の溶接作業を行うときには、第1、第2のクランプ
によって配管を把持し、溶接機連結部材に溶接機を連結
し、更に固定具によって各部材間の回動支持部を固定し
て溶接機を支持する。
第1のクランプは主支持アームに回動自在に支持され、
また、第2のクランプは主支持アームに回動自在に支持
された副支持アームに回動自在に支持されているので、
配管が直管であっても屈曲していても支持装置を配管に
固定することができる。
また、溶接機を連結する溶接機連結部材も、主支持アー
ムに回動自在に支持されているので、配管の外周面に対
する溶接機の溶接ノズルの位置を調整することができる
。
【実 施 例】
以下、本発明の実施例を図面を参照しつつ説明する。
第1図(イX0)(/\)及び第2図は本発明の一実施
例であり、−例としてボイラヘッダlにスタブ管23を
溶接する溶接機5を支持する場合について述べる。
主支持アーム6の一端に、スタブ管23を把持可能な第
1のクランプ7の基部と、副支持アーム8の基部とを水
平なピン9.10によって、それぞれ別箇の回転中心を
有し且つ同一垂直面内を回動し得るように支持し、前記
副支持アーム8の先端部に、スタブ管23を把持可能な
第2のクランプ11の基部を水平なピン12によって、
前記mlのクランプ7の回動面と同一の垂直面内を回動
し得るように支持する。
第1のクランプ7と主支持アーム6、第2のクランプ1
1と副支持アーム8、副支持アーム8と主支持アーム6
は締付けねじ33,34.35を締付けることにより互
いに固定し得るようになっている。
第1、第2のクランプ7.11は締付けねじ13゜14
を締付けることにより、スタブ管23に把持固定し得る
ようになっている。
前記主支持アーム6の他端に、水平にピン15を固着し
、該ピン15に溶接機5と連結可能な溶接機連結部材1
6を、前記第1のクランプ7の回動面と同一の垂直面内
を回動し得るように嵌着し、溶接機の支持装置17を形
成する。
溶接機連結部材16は締付けねじ18を締付けることに
より、ピン15に固定できるようになっている。
また、第2図に示す如く、溶接機連結部材16の下面に
は、前記各ピン9.IO,12,15を直角で且つ水平
方向(ボイラヘッダlの接線と平行)に延びる突起部1
9が形成されている。
次に溶接機5の構成を略述する。
溶接機5は、上方から見てスタブ管23径方向に延びる
切込み(図示せず)を有し且つスタブ管23に外嵌可能
な支持体20と、上方から見て略U字形状でスタブ管2
3に外嵌可能且つ前記支持体20に回転自在に支持され
たターンテーブル21と、該ターンテーブル21に取付
けられた溶接ノズル22とから主に構成されている。
支持体20には前記ターンテーブル21を回動させるた
めの旋回用モータ24が設けられており、また支持体2
0は昇降機構(図示せず)を介してフレーム25に設け
られた昇降用モータ26と連結されている。
更にフレーム25上部には、位置調整機構27を介して
前記溶接機連結部材16と連結可能な連結部材28が取
付けられている。
位置調整機構27は、調整ねじ29を回転させることに
より前記連結部材28がボイラヘッダlの軸線方向へ、
また調整ねじ30を回転させることにより前記連結部材
28がボイラヘッダlの接線方向へ移動するようになっ
ている。
第2図に示す如く、連結部材28は、その上面にボイラ
ヘッダlの接線と平行に延び且つ前記溶接機連結部材I
Bの突起部19と嵌合可能な溝部31が形成されており
、突起部19と溝部31とを嵌合した後、連結部材28
側面に設けた締付けねじ32を締付けることにより、連
結部材28を溶接機連結部材16に固定できるようにな
っている。
以下、溶接機5を設置する手順について述べる。
溶接機5を設置する際には、まず、上面に溶接機連結部
材16を載置可能な支持装置位置決め治具(図示せず)
をボイラヘッダl外周面に仮設し、該支持装置位置決め
治具上に溶接機連結部材16の下面が当接するように溶
接機の支持装置17を仮置きする。
前記治具のスタブ管23管軸方向の寸法は、溶接機5使
用時におけるボイラヘッダl外周面から溶接機連結部材
16下面までの寸法と等しくなっている。
次いで、第1、第2のクランプ7.11をスタブ管23
に外嵌させ、締付けねじ13.14を締付けて第1、第
2のクランプ7.11をスタブ管23に固定した後、前
記治具を撤去する。
このとき、第1のクランプ7はビン9により主支持アー
ムBに回動自在に支持され、また第2のクランプ11は
ピン12により副支持アーム8の先端に、回動自在に支
持されているので、第1図〈イ〉(ロ)イ)に示す如く
、スタブ管23が直管であっても、また屈曲していても
常に溶接機連結部材1Bをボイラヘッダlに対して所定
の位置に安定した状態で固定することができる。
前記治具を撤去したならば、溶接機5の連結部材28の
溝部31と、支持装置17の突起部19とを嵌合すると
ともに(第2図参照)、溶接機5の支持体20及びター
ンテーブル21をスタブ管23に外嵌させ、更に締付け
ねじ32を締付けて連結部材28を溶接機連結部材16
に固定するとともに、スタブ管23外周面に対する溶接
ノズル22の位置を調整した後、締付けねじ18を締付
けて溶接機連結部材16の位置を固定する。
上述のように、支持装置17に溶接機5を連結固定した
ならば、必要に応じて位置調整機構27及び昇降用モー
タ2Bにより、スタブ管23外周面に対する溶接ノズル
22の微細な位置調整を行い、旋回用モータ24を駆動
してターンテーブル21とともに溶接ノズル22を旋回
させ、スタブ管23の周方向に沿って溶接を行い、スタ
ブ管23をボイラヘッダlに固着する。
溶接作業が終了したならば、前述した手順とは逆に、締
付けねじ18.32を緩め、溶接機連結部材16と連結
部材28との結合を解除して溶接機5を支持装置17よ
り取外し、更に締付けねじ13゜14を緩め、第1、第
2のクランプ7.11によりスタブ管23の把持をM除
して支持装置17をスタブ管23より取外す。
なお、本発明の溶接機の支持装置は、上述の実施例にの
み限定されるものではなく、スタブ管以外の種々配管の
溶接作業に用いること、主、副支持フレーム及び第1、
第2のクランプの各回動支持部の固定具として締付けね
じに替えてレバー等を用いることなど本発明の要旨を逸
脱しない範囲内において種々変更を加え得ることは勿論
である。
〔発明の効果]
以上説明したように、本発明の溶接機の支持装置によれ
ば、下記の如き種々の優れた効果を奏し得る。
(1)溶接機に接続するようにした主支持アームの他端
に、第1のクランプと、第2のクランプを回動自在に支
持した副支持アームとを、それぞれ回動自在に支持して
いるので、配管が直管であっても屈曲していても溶接機
の支持装置を配管に安定した状態で固定することができ
、配管の形状ごとに支持装置を用意しなくてもよい。
(2溶接機を連結する溶接機連結部材も主支持アームに
回動自在に支持されているので、配置外周面に対する溶
接機の溶接ノズルの位置を容易に調整することができる
