Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent infant's suffocation due to infant' erroneous drinking without drying a writing instrument by forming an axially protruding rib toward an opening from the enclosure side on the outside of a cap body, extending the rib substantially to the position of the opening, and forming an air passage for axially connecting the rib to the outer surface of the body. CONSTITUTION:One or a plurality of protruding ribs 2 ended at the position near an opening 3 and directed axially are formed on the outside of a cap 1 closed at one end and having the opening 3 at the other end, and an air passage 4 is formed of the ribs 2 and the outside of the cap. If the cap 1 is engaged with a writing instrument containing ink, it seals over the instrument to prevent ink from evaporating. If it is erroneously drunk, the passage 4 connected longitudinally of the cap is formed of the ribs 2 between an air canal and the outside of the cap. Accordingly, his life can be sustained until he is consulted with a doctor without suffocation. Since the rib end and the opening end are not so long as to close the passage in the canal therebetween, the sufficiently continued axial passage is obtained.

Description

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to an improvement in a cap for a writing instrument with built-in ink, and particularly to one that prevents infants from suffocating due to erroneous squeezing.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, in a writing instrument that does not contain ink, such as a pencil, the cap that covers the writing part has a cap that is attached to the head of the cap from the outside to the inside in order to prevent suffocation caused by a child accidentally swallowing. Some animals have a through hole that communicates with them to allow air to circulate even when they are anchored in the respiratory tract, thereby preventing suffocation.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the above-mentioned conventional writing instruments, ink is guided to the writing part like the writing instrument with built-in ink, such as the Mannen pen, and writing is carried out with the tip writing part moistened with ink. There is a risk that the inside of the cap may dry out and make it impossible to write.

A cap that includes at least a portion that is kept in a sealed state poses a risk of suffocation if accidentally swallowed.

Therefore, the present invention aims to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional writing instruments, and aims to prevent the writing part from drying out even in a writing instrument with built-in ink, and to prevent suffocation due to accidental whispering.

(Means for Solving the Problem) To this end, one or more axially extending protruding ribs are formed on the outer surface of a cap that is closed at one end and has an opening at the other end. An air passage is formed by the protruding rib and the outer surface of the cap, and the air passage is defined by the protruding rib, the outer surface, and an envelope surface circumscribing them, and is defined by one circular hole. It has a cross-sectional area of 4 mm or more, and the distance between the edge of the protruding rib closer to the opening and the opening is less than 2 inches.

(Function) Since it has the above-mentioned structure, when the cap of the present invention is fitted onto a writing instrument with built-in ink, it covers and seals the writing part to prevent ink from evaporating.
Since the protruding ribs form a continuous air passage in the longitudinal direction of the cap between the airway and the outer surface of the cap, the patient's life can be extended until medical attention is obtained without suffocation.
