る。(Prior Art) Currently, as a means for detecting the oil retention state in the oil pan of a vehicle engine, high and low level lines are connected to the tip of a guide pipe protruding into the oil pan. Insert a flat oil level gauge with a display on it into the oil, pull it out from the guide pipe when the vehicle is stopped, and visually check the wetness of the tip with oil, as well as a rod-shaped sensor on the engine body. The body is vertically mounted, a temperature-sensitive resistance element is attached to the detection body, and the oil retention state is known by the operation based on the temperature characteristics of this temperature-sensitive resistance element (for example, Utility Model Application No. 57-69911) ) etc. are known.

In the latter case, although it is convenient to be able to check from the driver's seat, it takes time for the temperature-sensitive resistance element to heat up and operate, causing problems in response. , and requires a complicated control circuit, resulting in high costs.

としている。(Means for Solving the Problems) Based on the above purpose, this invention is based on the above-mentioned purpose, by attaching a tube to the side wall of the engine body so as to protrude toward the oil pan, and keeping the lower end of the tube away from the high oil level line. The tube is inserted into the oil in the oil pan for a length equal to the height to the low level line plus a certain height smaller than this, and the upper end of the tube is connected to the blower with a tubular connecting member, and a connecting member is connected in the middle of the connecting member. A regulator is provided to maintain the pressure within the member and the tube at atmospheric pressure plus a head pressure corresponding to the height from the low level line of the tube to the lower end, and a connecting member is branched on the front side of the regulator. The system is characterized in that the pressure switch is connected to a display in the driver's cab.

示器が作動する。(Operation) When starting the engine, when the switch is turned on and the blower is activated, air maintained at a constant pressure by the regulator is sent to the pressure switch via the connecting member and tube, reducing the oil level in the oil pan. If the oil is above the low level line, the air pressure in the connecting member and tube will remain constant and the pressure switch will not operate, while if the oil is below the low level line, the air in the tube and connecting member will escape from the lower end into the oil. , the air pressure in the connecting member decreases, which is detected by the pressure switch and the display in the driver's cab is activated.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a guide pipe suspended from the side wall of the engine body a toward the oil pan b, and the upper end projecting onto the side wall has a guide pipe 1. A cap 2 made of an elastic material such as rubber or synthetic resin is removably attached to the cap 2. A handle 2a is attached to the upper surface of the cap 2, and an L-shaped joint tube 3 is attached to both ends of the cap 2 from the bottom and one side. The part that protrudes from the bottom of the cap 2 is the guide pipe 1.
Inside, the upper end of the tube 4 made of synthetic resin with flexibility and rigidity, such as nylon or polypropylene, is attached to that part.
extends downward through the guide pipe 1, and a high oil level line H and a low oil level line L are displayed on the lower peripheral surface, and a low level line L is displayed at the height from the high level line H to the low level line L. The part added by the required height h (30mm to 40mm) below is oil pan b.

The pressure inside becomes atmospheric pressure, and the low level line L on tube 4
A regulator 7 is provided, which is set to have a head pressure equal to the height h from An actuator 8a and a normally open micro switch 8b are housed inside.
The micro switch 8b is connected to an indicator 10, such as a lamp or a buzzer, provided in the driver's cab.

Then, it is sent to the engine main body a side via the hose 5, the joint pipe 3, and the tube 4, and a part of it is sent to the pressure switch 8 side via the branch hose.

The lubricating oil is prevented from foaming without coming out of the oil.
Moreover, in the pressure switch 8, the actuator 8a comes into contact with the normally open micro switch 8b due to the air pressure, and the indicator 10 in the driver's cab does not operate.

Since the oil is separated from the micro switch 8b by the restoring force of the spring, the display circuit is immediately closed, and the display 10 lights up or operates to notify the driver that the oil level has decreased.

The system may be shut off after oil is detected.

At the same time, the air pressure inside the tube is maintained at a pressure equal to atmospheric pressure plus the head pressure corresponding to the height from the low level line to the bottom end of the tube, and the display inside the operator's cabin is changed by changes in the air pressure inside the tube. Since the oil retention status is detected by activating the sensor, not only is there no need to take the detection rod in and out of the engine each time as in the past, but it is also more efficient than the conventional one that uses a temperature-sensitive resistance element. It has good responsiveness and does not require a complicated control circuit, making it possible to easily and quickly check the oil status in the driver's cab.

の利点を有する。 When the oil is above the low level line, air does not flow out of the tube, so the sliding parts can be lubricated without any risk of foaming the oil in the oil pan.
It has the advantages of not causing oil deterioration, having a simple structure, not requiring expensive parts, and being able to be produced at low cost.
