bに到達するガスは、スリツトcから同時に侵入
してくる風の影響を受けて撹乱され易く、従つて
精度良くガスを検知することができず、ガス警報
器の性能を極めて不安定なものとしていた。又、
ガス警報器の点検に際して点検用のガスをスリツ
トcからガス検知部bに吹き付ける際、吹付ガス
が直接高濃度でガス検知部に接触し、ガス検知部
bの劣化を促進してその寿命を著しく短縮させる

かかる構成からなるガス警報器において、本考
案においてはガス検知部4とガス検知部4に対向
して貫設されたスリツト群3との間にパンチング
メタルフイルタ板8が介装されている。このパン
チングメタル8は第4図に示すようにアルミニウ
ム板等を打ち抜き製作された金属板からなり、ガ
ス検知部4と対向するスリツト群3の外周と略同
様の形状及び面積を有し、前記点検口7の直下を
除く板面の任意の個所に、スリツト3の幅及び点
検口7の径よりも充分小さな複数個の小孔9を貫
設したものである。このパンチングメタル8の装
着は外装ケース1のスリツト群3の外周に対応す
る本体2の前部枠2′に複数個の突起10を内方
に設け、この突起10にパンチングメタル8の外
周に設けた複数個の凹部11を係合させてスリツ
ト群3に対向して並設させる方法その他適宜の手
段を用いてスリツト群3とガス検知部4との間に

又、ガス警報器の点検時においては、従来外装ケ

ガス検知部4に吹き付けていたが、パンチングメ
タルを介装させることにより点検ガスは一旦外装
ケース1とパンチングメタル8との隙間に入り、
次いでパンチングメタルの小孔9により拡散さ
れ、適度のガス濃度に稀釈されてガス検知部4に

び点検口との間に介装させて構成されたガス検知
部構造であるから、ガス警報器の周囲環境特に風
等の影響に基づくガス警報器の性能の不安定が解
消され、更にガス警報器の点検に際して高濃度の
点検用ガスが直接検知部に接触してその劣化が促
進されることを防止し、ガス警報器の耐久性が向
