Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a contact state constant by providing a head slider bonded and overlapped onto the center ring of a gimbals spring, and forming a reinforcing rib surrounding the head slider at the outer circumferential ridge of the center ring. CONSTITUTION:Two half-circular-arc reinforcement ribs (C) are implanted to the outer circumferential ridge of a center ring 2a of a gimbal spring 2 opposite to each other. The top slide face of a head slider 1 is brought into contact with a flexible disk and pressed onto the flexibel disk just under the head slider with the spring 2.
