Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve bolt cleaning efficiency by providing a sliding member movable axially to a driving shaft, a driving source for the sliding member and a crank mechanism. CONSTITUTION:After a cleaning device 21 is set on a stud bolt 3, air cylinders 27 and 28 are pulled back and a slide embossing 30 is pulled up via a lifting plate 29 to urge a brush 37 against a threaded part 3a. In this condition, a motor 24 is rotated to transmit its rotary force to an upper rotary plate 26 via a driving shaft 25 and then to a lower rotary plate 38 via a connecting plate 39. The brush 37 in the engagement against the threaded part 3a is rotated together with a support 33 connected thereto by the upper rotary plate 26 and a shaft 3b. The dusts or the like produced by cleaning the threaded part 3a are discharged by a suction pump from a suction opening 35. By this method, the degree of the cleaning can be controlled.

[Prior art] During periodic inspections of nuclear reactors and fuel replacement, it is necessary to remove the upper mirror, but in order to prevent radioactive contamination when the upper mirror is removed, a Water is then filled into the well. in this case,
The stud bolts that attach the upper mirror to the pressure vessel body also become immersed in water and rust. For this reason, the bolt must be cleaned before and after removing and installing the nut.

The stud bolt 3 passes through the flange 1a of the upper mirror 1 and is connected to the flange 2a of the pressure vessel main body 2, and the nut (
(not shown) is a threaded portion 3 that is a threaded portion of the bolt 3 with a nut.
It is combined with a. Conventionally, bolt cleaning has been carried out manually by first covering the threaded portion 3a with a plastic bag 4, then placing a worker's hand in the plastic bag 4 and using a wire brush. Wearing plastic bags is intended to prevent the scattering of radioactive dust generated during cleaning work, but the effect of preventing scattering is not necessarily sufficient, and there is a risk that workers may be exposed to internal radiation by inhaling it. It is expensive and it is difficult to collect dust. In addition, as nearly 100 stud bolts are attached to one pressure vessel, manual cleaning takes a long time and increases the risk of exposure to radiation.

As shown in FIG. 7, in this device, a brush 6 is attached to a support 5 formed around a bolt 3, and a motor 8 moves the support 5 and brush 6 to the bolt 3 via a rotary disk 9.
The bolt 3 is cleaned by rotating it around the . Further, this cleaning device performs cleaning inside a cleaning device main body 10 having a cylindrical shape to prevent dust from scattering and has a structure in which dust is sucked through a suction port 11 provided at the bottom of the device main body.

On the other hand, when attaching the cleaning device main body 10 to the stud holder 3, the air cylinder 12 simultaneously lifts up the elevating plate 13 and the rotary plate 9 coupled thereto. As a result, the sliding plate 15 attached to the upper part of the guide 14 moves to the rotary plate 9.
The support 5 slides down the slope portion 9b and moves in the X direction. When the installation of the device main body 10 is completed, the elevating plate 13 is lowered by the air cylinder 12, and the rotary plate 9 is lowered thereby, and the support 5 is moved in the X direction, that is, the threaded portion 3a.

Ultimately, the lower guide 16 provided at the lower end of the support 5 is connected to the engagement hole provided in the wheel 17], 7a, and the upper and lower ends of each support 5 are connected to the rotary disk 9 and the wheel 17. In this state, the brush 6 attached to the support 5 slides on the surface of the threaded portion 3a to remove generated rust by rotating the motor 8 and using the drive shaft 18.

Therefore, by adjusting the sliding amount of the slide member relative to the drive shaft using a drive source such as an air cylinder, the force with which the cleaning brush attached to the sabot 1 is pressed against the bolt thread surface can be adjusted. As a result, even if the brush wears out, the pressure of the cleaning brush against the bolt thread surface can be maintained at a constant level, extending the life of the brush and eliminating the need for troublesome brush replacement. .

After setting the bolt cleaning device 21 on the stud bolt 3, as shown in FIG. 1, the air cylinders 27 and 28 are pulled back and the slide boss 30 is pulled upward via the lifting plate 29, which is the opposite of the above operation. The brush 37 is pressed against the threaded portion 3a. When the motor 24 is rotated in this state, the rotational force of the motor 24 is transmitted to the two-part rotating plate 26 via the drive shaft 25 and further transmitted to the lower rotating plate 38 via the connecting plate 39. In addition, the brush 37 is pressed against the threaded portion 3a, and the two-part rotary plate 26 and the shaft 3
It rotates together with the support 33 connected by 6. At this time, by adjusting the lifting force of the air cylinders 27, 28, that is, the air pressure, the force with which the brush 37 is pressed against the threaded portion 3a can be controlled, and the stroke of the air cylinders 27, 28 can be made sufficiently long. Even if the brush 37 is worn out and the length of the bristles becomes short,
The brush 37 can be pressed against the threaded portion 3a with approximately the same force.

As described above, according to the present invention, even if the bristle length of the cleaning brush becomes short due to wear, the pressing force against the threaded portion of the bolt, which is the surface to be cleaned, can be kept constant. Therefore, the frequency of brush replacement can be reduced, which has the effect of reducing worker exposure to radiation and reducing radioactive waste. Further, since the pressing force of the brush can be controlled by the driving force, it is also possible to control the degree of cleaning depending on the state of rust on the bolt surface.
