Therefore, products such as soaps, ointments, and sponges containing colloidal sulfur have been proposed. For example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 42-5099 proposes a sponge product containing colloidal sulfur.

For example, as described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 60-50882, page 4, left column, lines 19 to 29, it was generally believed that sulfur should be removed from fibers as much as possible.

。The present invention has developed a cellulosic fiber that contains a larger amount of sulfur than previously thought, but which does not cause any practical deterioration of fiber properties and has remarkable whitening and beauty effects over long periods of use. The purpose is to provide.

。The fibers having whitening and beauty effects of the present invention contain 0.2 to 20% by weight of colloidal free sulfur, and 70% or more of the sulfur content is dispersed in the center of the single fiber cross section. It is characterized by being a cellulose fiber.

含有量範囲は1〜IO重量%である。First, it is known that viscose rayon contains about 0.1% by weight of sulfur.
It is necessary that the content be at least % by weight. If it contains more than 20% by weight, the production of side reaction substances when sulfur is used increases, resulting in an unpleasant odor.
Furthermore, if a method is adopted in which sulfur is produced at the fiber manufacturing stage, problems such as thread breakage are unavoidable no matter the fineness, and the method has no practical value. The most preferred content range is 1 to IO% by weight.

A typical method is to immerse yarn or fabric in an aqueous solution of sodium sulfide or sodium thiosulfate in which sulfur is dissolved, and then remove the material adhering to the fibers and decompose it in an acid solution. .

Also in this case, a suitable sulfur generating agent is an aqueous solution of sodium sulfide in which sulfur is dissolved.

The distribution state of sulfur is concentrated in the center of the fiber cross section, and 70% or more of the total sulfur content is contained in a dispersed state in the central % of the cross-sectional area. Therefore, it has a durable effect and does not easily cause fiber deterioration.

Approximately 10% of the content is released into the hot water. In this way, sulfur is released gradually, so that good effects on the skin appear for a long time.

。Using the same method, we investigated the spinning state and the properties of the resulting fibers by increasing the concentration of dissolved sulfur or by increasing the amount added to viscose. When the content exceeds 4%, spinning becomes extremely difficult due to yarn breakage, the fibers are heavily colored, and the odor is accompanied by a strong hydrogen sulfide odor, making it impractical.

As a result, the content of free sulfur was 0.85% by weight and 0.85% by weight, respectively.
Although the sulfur content was 42% by weight and 0.23% by weight, it was recognized that a sulfur content of 0.2% by weight was necessary as the limit for feeling the effect after use for bathing.
