剤が混和される。しかして、この有機溶剤としてはメチ
ルアルコール、エチルアルコール、アセトンなどの常温
でも揮発するものが適当であって、このような有機溶剤
の1または2以上を前記焼石膏と所定混水量の水を混練
したスラリーに対し容量比で約10〜50%の範囲で混
和することによって容易に混溶してその使用量に応じス
ラリーの水和反応の遅緩を適当に調整することができる
ものである。そして、前記焼石膏と所定混水量の水と有
機溶剤を混和したスラリーは速やかに気密容器に密封状
態に封入して気密容器入り焼石膏スラリーとする。なお
、前記気密容器としては封入するスラリーが少量の場合
にはアルミチューブ、プラスチックチューブ、ワックス
加工紙箱などが使用上便宜であり、封入するスラリ一の
量が多い場合には金属罐、戒形プラスチック容器などが

揮発して硬化するものであって、この場合、前記スラリ
ーは焼石膏が水和反応により所要の硬化を行うのに必要
な所定混水量の水と混練されたものであるため、得られ
る硬化物は各用途に適応した強度をもったものとなり、
また、用途に応じたスラリーの硬化時間は前記焼石膏の
水和反応を遅緩させる揮発性且つ水溶性の有機溶剤の使
用量を適当に変えることによって8周整できるものであ
る。なお、スラリーの硬化を特に早める必要が生じた場
合には、加温或いは送風によって前記有機溶剤の揮発を

によって用途別に即座に使用できる便宜な焼石膏スラリ
ーを提供できたものであって、従来煩雑な手数を必要と
した使用に際しての焼石膏と水の計量およびその混和の
必要が全くなく、また、従来みられた混水量や混和の不
均斉が生じないことによって性状の安定した硬化物が得
られるものであって、陶磁器用、美術用、歯科用などの
