【考案の詳細な説明】 〔考案の属する技術分野〕 この考案は貫流水車においてケーシングと吸出
管内に空気を呼び込むため、吐出側のコーナケー
シングに設けられる吸気孔の構造に関する。

〔従来技術とその問題点〕[Prior art and its problems]

貫流水車には吸出し管を設ける場合と設けない
場合がある。吸出し管を設ける場合は吸出し管内
の水位を調整するためにコーナケーシングに吸気
孔が設けられ、コーナケーシング外部に取り付け
られた吸気弁を介して空気が水車内に導入され
る。一方、吸出し管を設けない場合は、水車運転
中にコーナケーシング上部がランナ排出水で充満
してしまう事によつて生ずる水車の振動を防止す
るため同様にコーナケーシングに吸気孔が設けら
れるが、この場合は、運転中に常時空気が自然導
入されるような構造をとり、吸気量は調整する必
要がないので、吸気弁は設けられない。通常の負
荷運転時においては流水のエネルギーの大部分は
ランナに吸収されるためランナ排水の運動エネル
ギーは僅かである。従つて排出水はコーナケーシ
ングに衝突しても上方へはね上がることはなく、
はね上がつても極く僅かであり自重により落下し
てしまうため吸気孔からの水の噴出は起らない。
ところが負荷遮断時や始動時はランナ排出水には
かなりのエネルギーが残つているため、コーナケ
ーシングに衝突した水の一部はコーナケーシング
内面に沿つて上方へはね上がり、その水が吸気孔
から噴出するという欠点があつた。これを第2図
に基づいて説明する。図において1は入口管、2
はガイドベーン、3は水車ケーシング、4は水車
ランナ、4aはランナ羽根、4bは水車軸、5は
コーナケーシング、5aは吸気孔である。入口管
1から水車ケーシングに流水した水はガイドベー
ン2で調整されてランナ4に入り、ランナ4を駆
動してコーナケーシング5内に放水Wされる。こ
のときコーナケーシング5に衝突した水の一部
Woはコーナケーシング5の内面に沿つて上方へ
はね上がり、吸気孔5aから噴出する。

斜張り出し部5bを設けたことによりコーナケー
シング5に衝突した水の一部W1は張り出し部5
bの傾斜面に案内されて元の水流Wに戻り、吸気
孔5aから外部へ噴出することはなくなつた。
