A typical example of welding two parts is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. In these examples, the connecting tube 2 is welded to the outer surface of the hydraulic cylinder 1 in the power steering device. In addition, connection tube 2
serves as an inlet or an outlet for supplying and discharging oil to the hydraulic cylinder 1. In this conventional example, the connecting tube 2 is brought into contact with the outer surface of the hydraulic cylinder 1 so as to surround the hole 3 provided in the hydraulic cylinder 1, and the outer periphery of the contact portion is welded by appropriate welding means.

Problems to be Solved by the Present Invention However, in the prior art as described above, spatter enters the hydraulic cylinder through the hole during welding, forming a convex portion on the inner surface of the cylinder, damaging the piston ring, and causing damage to the inside of the hydraulic cylinder. The drawback was that leakage occurred between the hydraulic chambers.

The other welding element, ie the known connecting tube 12, is arranged on the outer surface of the hydraulic cylinder. This connecting tube has a central hole 13. This connecting tube is arranged on the outer surface of the hydraulic cylinder such that its center hole 13 is aligned with the hole 11 of the hydraulic cylinder.

An annular welding leg 21 is formed on the connecting tube 12 . The connecting tube 12 is arranged so that its welding leg 21 surrounds the protrusion 20 of the hydraulic cylinder, and the tip of the welding leg 21 is arranged in contact with the outer surface of the hydraulic cylinder.

With the above configuration, spatter and melted Fe may occur during welding.
is prevented from entering the bore 11 and thus into the hydraulic cylinder as it is prevented by the protrusion 20. That is, the protrusion 20 functions as a blocking wall that prevents spatter from entering between the welded portion 21 and the hole 11.

In addition, the clearance C 1 between the protrusion 20 and the welding leg 21 is made small, and the clearance C 2 between the tip surface of the protrusion 20 and the bottom surface 12a of the welding leg of the connecting tube is reduced to zero or zero at the end of welding. It is preferable to make it extremely small so that dissolved Fe does not flow into the hydraulic cylinder.

FIG. 2 shows another embodiment of the invention, in which parts similar to those in FIG. 1 are given the same reference numerals. In this embodiment, a large tapered part 40 is formed on the outer periphery of the tip of the welding leg 21. In this way, spatter and dissolved
By allowing the Fe to flow outward as shown by the arrows in FIG. 2, it is possible to more reliably prevent spatter and the like from entering the holes 11.

Effects of the Invention According to the present invention, as described above, the protrusion and the welding legs surrounding the protrusion can prevent spatters etc. from entering the hydraulic cylinder during welding. There is no need for finishing such as removing burrs inside the cylinder, and therefore there is a practical benefit in that it is extremely easy to manufacture hydraulic cylinders, etc., and the manufacturing cost is low.
