Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the smoothing of a mill roller, a leveler roll, a pinch roll or the like arranged in a paired state or the cleaning of descaling or the like so efficiently in a short time by forming both sides of a cushion material in the central part with an elastic grindstone through a flexible reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:A central part is formed out of a cushion material 1, and each other side of both vertical sides of this cushion material 2 is set down as an elastic grindstone 3 through a flexible reinforcing material 2, thereby securing a desired polisher. At the time of use of this polisher, it is efficient that this polisher is pulled by a wire rope or the like and used, and in this case, it is recommended that one side or both sides of this polisher, pinching a metal fitting 5 welded to a steel pipe or a bar 4 or the like, is fixed by a pressure flange 6 and a bolt 7 and pulled by the wire rope or the like.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the above-mentioned weight type polyrusher equipped with only an elastic grindstone body or an elastic grindstone, it is difficult to smooth or clean a pair of rolling rollers arranged vertically or horizontally at once. It is inefficient to do so, and it may even damage the roller surface, and it is also inefficient to remove scale or smoothen one side of two sheets of steel, special steel plates, etc. at once.

[Means for Solving the Problems 1] As a result of studies to solve the above-mentioned problems, the inventor of the present invention found that the center portion is made of a cushioning material, and both sides of the cushioning material are made of a cushioning material through a flexible reinforcing material. A Bolisher head is characterized by being made of an elastic whetstone.

The residual strain was determined by repeated compression residual strain test (J [S K

If the weight is less than 150kg or 0.5kg/cm, the restoring force and back strength will be too small, resulting in unpolished or insufficiently polished areas.If the weight exceeds 150kg or 0.5kg/cm, the cushioning material Because it is hard, the elastic whetstone does not adapt to the surface of the roll being polished, resulting in insufficiently polished areas or unpolished areas.
An f@ portion will occur, and some portions will hit the roll too hard, resulting in more polishing than necessary and increased contact resistance with the roll during polishing.

The elastic grindstone used in the present invention may be a conventional one,
The base fabric can be one or more of chemical fibers such as nylon and acrylic, natural fibers such as cotton and flax, and mineral fibers such as glass fiber, non-woven fabric, or a combination of both. However, fine abrasive grains such as silicon carbide or fused alumina are impregnated and fixed to this base fabric with a binder such as phenol resin. The grain size of the abrasive grains is #24~#
1000 is preferable, and can be arbitrarily selected depending on the finish roughness of the roller surface, etc., and the state of deposits and flaws.

In order to exert abrasive force on the roller etc. to be polished and maintain the abrasion resistance of the grindstone, it is desirable to use the elastic whetstone at a linear pressure of 2 to 6 kg/CIm;
If the polishing force is less than 6 kg/cm, the polishing power will not be exhibited.
If it exceeds m, there is a problem in wear resistance.

It is most efficient to set the pushing amount of the polyurethane so that the above pressure is applied to the roller surface of the pair of rollers. Therefore, it is more preferable to use rubber foam or sponge rubber as the cushioning material when the stroke interval between a pair of rollers is as narrow as 45 mm or less, and to use urethane foam when the stroke interval exceeds 45 mm. Also, for rubber foam and sponge rubber, 10
It is preferable that the thickness be 30 mm or more for urethane foam, and if the thickness is less than 30 mm or more,
If it wraps around the polishing surface of a roll or the like, polishing pressure will not be obtained.
