Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform further denser operation of a train by predicting a time, in which the limit speed of a subsequent train is changed to an upper grade, from the advancing state of a preceding train and deciding the limit speed pattern of the subsequent train so as to coincide with the time. CONSTITUTION:In a train control device to control operation of a train so as to allow running of only a single train in the one block section of a truck divided into a plurality of sections, a computing part 10 in an operation managing device 8 on the ground side computes a real time and an optimum speed from the length of a train, lower limit speed information, and lock section length information from a memory 11, and a train detecting signal from a train detecting device 6. The computing result is transmitted to a device on a train from an information transmitting device 9. From the advancing state of a preceding train, the limit speed of a subsequent train is determined, and a time in which the limit speed is changed to an upper grade is predicted. During running of the subsequent train to a specified spot, operation of the subsequent train is controlled based on a limit speed pattern according to which the arrival time of the subsequent train almost coincides with a predicting time.

7- [Conventional technology] Conventionally, automatic train control devices have been used to control multiple trains running on the same track, and the trains have been operated with the distance between the trains kept above a predetermined distance for safety reasons. . Recently, in order to control trains more densely, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 61-2
As shown in Publication No. 69604, a speed limit signal and a deceleration information signal that is lower than the speed limit signal by a predetermined value are transmitted to the train at the same time, and under normal conditions, the deceleration information signal is used to control the deceleration of the train. A method is proposed.

However, the above-mentioned conventional technology does not give any consideration to so-called dynamic train control, in which the operation of the following train is controlled while closely monitoring the progress of the preceding train. For this reason, there was a limit to high-density operation with shorter intervals between trains than ever before.

When a train running on the same track approaches a preceding train, it is necessary to maintain at least a minimum distance from the train to avoid a rear-end collision. This distance naturally varies depending on the speed of the train, resulting in a pattern as shown in FIG. 1, which is a roughly parabolic curve.

When a preceding train 2 moves on the same track 1 and its tail passes through a blocked section that the train has occupied up to now, the allowed running section for the following train 3 changes as shown in FIG. 2. At this point, the following train 3 accelerates and becomes able to proceed further.

Figure 3 illustrates the situation near the station. As shown in Figure 3(a), while the preceding train 2 is stopped at platform 5, it occupies the blocked section m including the platform, and the speed limit indicated by the signal is imposed on the blocked section n behind it. . If the following train 3 approaches in this state, it is necessary to stop at point A and wait for the signal in that section to change to a higher level until the preceding train 2 departs. If the preceding train 2 eventually departs from L and its tail leaves the blocked section m, the same figure (b
), the restriction signal for the following train 3 changes upward. From this point on, the following train 3 accelerates to L and decelerates midway to stop at the fixed station stop point and handle passengers.

5 The problem here is that if the preceding train 2 occupies the blockage section m and the following train 3 is subject to speed restrictions, the following train 3 will go to point A and change its rank at that point, as described above. This is a judgment as to whether it is better to wait, or whether it is more effective to decelerate in advance before the allowable speed limit and wait for a change in the upper position while proceeding at a low speed. The following train 3 is allowed to be at any point (operating state) on the diagonal line shown in Figure 4, but from this point onwards, it accelerates and decelerates again until it stops at the station's fixed position. It is desirable that the time required for this process be as short as possible. Here, we will discuss from which point the hatched line in the figure is the optimal point to start the above control. It is obvious that this point is located at least at the uppermost limit on the diagonal line, and the optimum speed v0Pt in that case is expressed by the following equation.

Here, So: Obstruction length α: Acceleration β: Deceleration Therefore, it can be said that the most efficient operation is for the following train 3 to be at point A in FIG. 4 at the time when the display changes upward.

In the above formula, the blockage length So can be applied when the starting end of the blocked section m is almost equal to the station stop point, and if the two positions are far apart, the blockage length So can be applied from the end of the blocked section of the platform section to the station stop point It is necessary to calculate the distance to the position as So.

Now, considering the case where the train accelerates at a constant acceleration as shown in FIG. 5, the time t required to pass a certain point is expressed by the following equation.

Using the above calculated values, it is possible to predict the transit time from the time the train enters an arbitrary point until the train leaves the tail. In practical terms, if this is defined as the first blockage boundary departing from the platform, the time from when the train enters the blockade section 0 ahead until the tail of the train exits the blockade section m including the platform (clear It is possible to calculate the time.

That is, as shown in FIG. 9, when the above information is input from the ground while the train is running at a point, the calculation section of the car-I calculates, for example, Continuing to coast, the time it takes to hit the speed limit pattern and decelerate along the repeat pattern to point A (route I), and the time it takes to decelerate from point A to point A at a constant deceleration (route ■). Also, immediately decelerate at the maximum deceleration from 1 to Vopv, and then predict the time (route ■) to reach point A at a constant speed (coasting) L, of which,
Control the train by selecting the driving pattern closest to the clear time.

As explained above, according to the present invention, it is possible to know the time until the speed limit of the following train changes upward from the progress status of the preceding train, and further adjust the speed limit of the following train to match this time. Since the speed pattern is determined, dynamic train control can be performed, making it possible to operate at a higher density than before.
