Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、自動車等における窓ガラス取付装置
であつて、窓開口の枠に取付装置を支持するため
の可撓材料製のサポートを備えており、このサポ
ートは窓開口縁に沿つて延びていて窓ガラスを受
容する受け面を有しており、この受け面上に装着
されて窓ガラスの周縁部を部分的に受容する剛性
的は縦長の枠部材が設けられている形式のものに
関する。
本発明は、この種の窓ガラス取付装置におい
て、窓ガラスと取付装置部分との間に事実上段差
が生じない同列の外面が形成されるように構成す
ることを目的として、次の点を特徴としている。
すなわち、剛性的な縦長の枠部材がサポートの受
け面と窓ガラスの周縁部との間に位置を占める水
平部分と、この水平部分から窓ガラスの内面近く
で直角に延びていて受け面の１つのスリツト内に
位置を占める第１の突出縁部と、水平部分から窓
ガラスの外面近くで直角に延びていて窓ガラス外
面に接触する第２の突出縁部とを有しており、サ
ポートに受け面の前記スリツトの近くの範囲にこ
のスリツトに対してほぼ直角に１つのスロツトが
形成されており、このスロツト内にはサポートの
可撓材料をスリツトに沿つて補強して枠部材を所
定位置に不動に保持するために１つの補強部材が
取りはずし可能に挿入されているのである。
このような取付装置の構成によれば、窓ガラス
の不動の固定を保証すると共に、窓ガラスおよび
取付装置が互いに事実上段差を生じないいわゆる
フラツシユな表面形成が得られる。
本発明の窓ガラス取付装置をさらに詳述するな
らば、囲み枠は窓開口平面と平行に突出した１つ
のフランジを構成するフランジ接合部分から成つ
ており、その縦長の可撓材料から成るサポートは
窓開口縁に沿つて前記フランジをシール作用のも
とにつかむためのみぞを有しており、このみぞを
形成している可撓材料中にみぞ形の補強キヤリア
が埋め込まれている。サポートの可撓材料は前記
枠部材と共に窓ガラスを受け入れるために前記み
ぞに沿つてほぼたな状の受け面を有していて、こ
の受け面の底部に前記枠部材の第１の突出縁部を
受け入れるための縦長のスリツトが形成されてお
り、サポートの最も外側の可撓材料面に縦長のス
ロツトが形成されている。また、比較的剛性的な
縦長の補強部材は、前記スリツトの外側の壁部を
なす可撓材料部分が前記部材の第１の突出縁部の
挿入のために外方へ曲げられてばね作用のもとに
戻つた後に、前記スロツト内に嵌合できるように
寸法を定められていて、この補強部材を介して前
記スリツト内に枠部材が締付けられて窓ガラスが
所定位置に固定される。スロツト内に補強部材が
挿入された状態ではサポートの可撓材料又は補強
部材のどの部分も枠部材の第２の突出縁部よりも
外方へ突出しない。
次に図面に示した実施例について本発明を詳述
する： 図面は本発明の実施例を横断面図で示してい
る。この実施例は自動車の風防ガラスである窓ガ
ラス１０を、窓開口平面と平行に位置するフラン
ジ接合部分１２によつて囲まれた窓開口に取付け
る位置である。フランジ接合部分１２は２つの車
体個所１４，１６間に設けられている。
取付装置の本体をなすサポート２１はグリツプ
部分１８および取付兼シール部分２０に大別され
る。
グリツプ部分１８はみぞ形の横断面をなしてい
て、補強キヤリア２２を埋め込んだプラスチツク
材又はゴム材のような可撓材料から形成されてい
る。補強キヤリア２２は金属製であつて、隣接し
合う多数のＵ形材の形をなしている。個個のＵ形
材は互いに結合されていてもよいし、結合しない
ままでもよい。この補強キヤリアはみぞの両側に
わたつて振り分けた多数のループ状の線材であつ
てもよい。補強キヤリアはクロスヘツド押出法に
よつてサポート２１の可撓材料に埋め込むと有利
である。この場合係止兼シールリツプ２４も押出
成形される。
取付兼シール部分２０はプラスチツク材又はゴ
ム材によつてグリツプ部分１８と一緒に押出成形
されている。この押出成形によつてリツプ２６お
よびスリツト２８を有するほぼＬ形の受け面２５
が形成されている。さらに、ほぼＶ形のスロツト
３２を形成するリツプ３０，３１も成形されな
い。
図示のサポート２１は不特定の長さのストリツ
プとしと製造され、窓開口の大きさに合わせて裁
断され、グリツプ部分１８をフランジ接合部分１
２へ押し嵌めることによつて係止兼シールリツプ
２４を介して所定位置に固定される。
この状態で、金属製の枠部材３４と組み合わせ
た窓ガラス１０が窓開口縁に沿つてＬ形の受け面
２５によつて形成されるたな部分へ嵌め付けられ
る。枠部材３４は１つの水平部分３４ｃおよび２
つのほぼ平行で逆向きの突出縁部３４ａ，３４ｂ
を有する形材である。窓ガラス１０および枠部材
３４を所定位置に嵌め付ける際リツプ３０が外方
へほぼ水平に曲げられて、枠部材３４が所定位置
を占めて枠部材３４の突出縁部３４ａスリツト２
８内に挿入されるとばね式に戻る。リツプ３０の
外方への曲げは、嵌付け前にスリツト２８内に挿
入したコードによつて行なうとよい。
最後に、例えば比較的硬質のプラスチツク又は
ゴムから成形した補強部材３８がサポート２１の
全長に及ぶスロツト３２内へ押し嵌められ、おう
角部分３９，４０によつて所定位置で不動にロツ
クされる。これによつて補強部材３８はリツプ３
０を図示の位置状態に不動に支え、ひいては枠部
材３４を所定位置にロツクして窓ガラス１０を窓
開口内で不動に保持する。この補強部材３８は装
飾トリム４１を備えている。
リツプ３１は車体部分１６の種種の形状に合わ
せてサポート２１を密着させるのに役立つ。
本発明の窓ガラス取付装置は窓ガラス１０の外
面とほぼ同列をなす外面を有しているために有利
である。
必要とあれば、サポート２１を窓開口の特定寸
法に合わせて閉じたループの形に予備加工しても
よい。

図面は本発明の窓ガラス取付装置の横断面図で

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 自動車等における窓ガラス取付装置であつ
    て、窓開口の枠に取付装置を支持するための可撓
    材料から成るサポートを備え、このサポートは窓
    ガラスを受容するために窓開口縁に沿つて延びた
    受け面を有しており、この受け面上に装着されて
    窓ガラスの周縁部を部分的に受容する剛性的な縦
    長の枠部材が設けられている形式のものにおい
    て、この枠部材３４は前記サポート２１の受け面
    ２５と窓ガラス１０の周縁部との間に位置を占め
    る水平部分３４ｃと、この水平部分３４ｃから窓
    ガラス１０の内面近くで直角に延びていて受け面
    ２５の１つのスリツト２８内に位置を占める第１
    の突出縁部３４ａと、水平部分３４ｃから窓ガラ
    ス１０の外面近くで直角に延びていて窓ガラスの
    外面に接触する第２の突出縁部３４ｂとを有して
    おり、サポート２１に受け面２５の前記スリツト
    ２８の近くの範囲にこのスリツト２８に対してほ
    ぼ直角に１つのスロツト３２が形成されており、
    このスロツト３２内にはサポート２１の可撓材料
    をスリツト２８に沿つて補強して枠部材３４を所
    定位置に不動に保持するために１つの補強部材３
    ８が取はずし可能に挿入されていることを特徴と
    する、窓ガラス取付装置。 ２ 補強部材３８は、スロツト３２内に補強部材
    ３８が位置した場合にサポート２１から外方へほ
    とんど突出しない寸法を有している特許請求の範
    囲第１項記載の窓ガラス取付装置。 ３ 補強部材３８がその外面に装飾トリム４１を
    備えている特許請求の範囲第２項記載の窓ガラス
    取付装置。 ４ スロツト３２を形成しているサポート２１の
    可撓材料がスロツト３２の開口部に沿つておう角
    部分３９，４０を有しており、このおう角部分３
    ９，４０はスロツト３２内に補強部材３８を不動
    に保持するために内向きをなしている特許請求の
    範囲第２項又は第３項記載の窓ガラス取付装置。 ５ サポート２１の可撓材料が窓開口から窓ガラ
    ス１０よりも外方へほとんど突出しない特許請求
    の範囲第１項から第４項までのいずれか１項記載
    の窓ガラス取付装置。 ６ 窓開口が、窓開口縁に沿つて窓開口平面と平
    行な１つのフランジ１２を構成するフランジ接合
    部分によつて形成されており、サポート２１が、
    前記フランジ１２へ差し嵌められてこのフランジ
    １２をつかむように設計されたみぞを有している
    特許請求の範囲第１項から第５項までのいずれか
    １項記載の窓ガラス取付装置。 ７ みぞを形成している可撓材料中にみぞ形の補
    強キヤリア２２が埋め込めれている特許請求の範
    囲第６項記載の窓ガラス取付装置。 ８ みぞの少なくとも一方の内壁に係止兼シール
    リツプ２４が形成されている特許請求の範囲第７
    項記載の窓ガラス取付装置。 ９ 枠部材３４が金属製である特許請求の範囲第
    １項から第８項までのいずれか１項記載の窓ガラ
    ス取付装置。 １０ 枠部材３４が窓ガラス１０に接着剤によつ
    て接合されている特許請求の範囲第１項から第９
    項までのいずれか１項記載の窓ガラス取付装置。
