<Prior art> Some joint covers of this type have a simple structure that is directly fixed to each building, but with such a structure, when the buildings shake toward each other due to an earthquake or rainstorm, the As a result, cracks may occur in the joint cover mounting portion, and in some cases, the outer wall of the building may be damaged. Therefore, as a solution to this problem, a structure was devised in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 56-40979 which absorbs the above-mentioned relative vibration between buildings and eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks. This thing supports a sliding member on the inner surface side of the end of the joint cover and a guide member on the roof surface side, and connects the sliding member to the guide member so as to be able to slide in a substantially horizontal direction, thereby separating the buildings from each other. This corresponds to the case where relative movement occurs in the near direction.

<Problems to be solved by the invention> By the way, with such a configuration, when installing the joint cover on the rooftop, it is difficult to position it, and the joint cover may be deviated outward from the roof of one of the buildings, causing the joint cover to This may cause a construction defect in which the end of the cover protrudes, spoiling the aesthetic appearance.

<Means for solving the problem> The present invention supports sliding members on the inner surfaces of both ends of the joint cover, and supports guide members on both top surfaces, so that the sliding members are connected to the guide members. The guide member is slidably connected to the guide member in a substantially horizontal direction, and a contact piece that supports the lower surface of the joint cover is protruded from the upper surface of both guide members.
Insert the connecting rod into the sliding hole formed in the corresponding contact piece,
The engaging piece held at the outer end of the connecting rod is connected to the mounting base end position of the sliding member, and the sliding member and the guide member are attached to the connecting rod in the direction of separation between the engaging piece and the contact piece. It is characterized by having a coil spring fitted onto the outside, and having the same spring constant of the coil springs at both ends.

Reference numerals 15 and 15 refer to movable guide members, which are formed by covering short cover plates 17 at appropriate intervals on a base plate 16 having the same length in the left and right direction as the mounting pieces 7, 7; The protrusion 19 of the cover plate 17 is fitted into the guide groove 18 formed on the rear upper surface of the base plate 16, and the long groove 20 spanning the left and right width is formed on the inner end of the base plate 16.
The connection between the base plate 16 and the cover plate 17 is achieved by inserting an elliptical connecting plate 21 therein, protruding the screw portion 22 on the upper surface of the plate through a through hole 23 formed at the end of the cover plate 17, and tightening the screw with a nut. Consolidation is applied. In this connected state, a sliding groove 24 is formed between the base plate 16 and the cover plate 17, which opens at the front end, and the sliding members 2, 2
The sliding piece 4 is inserted. Further, on the lower surface thereof, there is a circular fitting portion 26 at the lower end that fits into the semicircular receiving groove 10.
A pivoting leg piece 25 is vertically provided, and by the fitting, the movable guide members 15, 15 are supported by the mounting pieces 7, 7 so as to be rotatable in the direction adjacent to the buildings x, x.

As described above, the coil springs 3 having the same spring constant are installed between the sliding members 2, 2 and the movable guide members 15, 15.
1 and 31 are attached respectively. Therefore, the sliding members 2, 2 and the hanging ends 1b, 1b are urged outward with equal force, and due to the balance of these forces, the top end 1
a is automatically positioned at an intermediate position between x and x.

For this reason, when the buildings x and x move relative to each other in the direction away from each other, the sliding members 2
4 to absorb this. Further, when the buildings x, x are tilted relative to each other, this is absorbed by the tilting movement between the mounting pieces 7, 7 and the movable guide members 15, 15, and the tilting movement between the movable connecting rod 12 and the holding member 2. Therefore, the joint y can be covered without any trouble against earthquakes, rainstorms, etc.
