<Prior art> Some joint covers of this type have a simple structure that is directly fixed to each building, but with such a structure, when the buildings shake toward each other due to an earthquake or rainstorm, As a result, cracks may occur in the joint cover attachment portion, and in some cases, the outer wall of the building may be damaged. Therefore, in order to cope with this problem, a structure has been devised as in Utility Model Publication No. 56-40979, which absorbs the above-mentioned relative vibration between buildings and eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks. In this device, a sliding member is rotatably provided on the inner side of the end of the joint cover, a guide member is supported on the roof surface side, and the sliding member is connected to the guide member so as to be slidable in a substantially horizontal direction. This structure is designed to absorb the relative movement that occurs between the buildings.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> By the way, in such a structure, since the sliding member is rotatable with respect to the joint cover at the connection part with the joint cover, the sliding member can be rotated with respect to the joint cover by tilting the joint cover. , 〓 between them is indefinite with respect to the inner surface of the cover. Therefore, it is not possible to provide an abutment piece or the like on the upper surface of the sliding member to support the inner surface of the cover. Therefore, in such a device, the joint cover must be supported only at the connecting portion at the outer ends of both buildings. For this reason,
Although the joint cover can move relative to the building, its retention is insufficient, and since the joint cover is thin, it is likely to vibrate and become misaligned due to objects falling from above. Another disadvantage is that the cover surface tends to cave in.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The present invention provides a joint cover that spans the rooftops of adjacent buildings and covers the joints between the buildings, and slides sliding members on the inner surfaces of both ends thereof inward in a substantially horizontal direction. A movable guide member is provided protrudingly and rotatably supported via connecting portions on both top surfaces, and the sliding member is connected to the movable guide member so as to be slidable in a substantially horizontal direction, and the movable guide The present invention is characterized in that an abutting piece is provided on the upper surface of the member for abutting against and holding the inner surface of the joint cover.

Further, since the abutment piece is provided protrudingly on the upper surface of the sliding member to support the inner surface of the joint cover, the joint cover is firmly supported by the connecting portion with the sliding member and the abutment piece. be done. Note that even if the buildings move relative to each other, the sliding member moves integrally with the end of the joint cover, so that the contact between the contact piece and the inner surface of the cover can always be maintained.

In addition, the weight of joint covers, etc. is ultimately applied vertically to the roof surface via the connection part that rotatably supports the movable guide member, and as shown in Utility Model Publication No. 56-40979, Unlike the case where the sliding member is supported by the connecting portion of the outer end that protrudes from the outside, not only is there no uneven distribution of force, but the required strength can be easily achieved.

15, 15 is a long substrate 16 that is long in the left and right direction.
The movable guide member is constructed by attaching short cover plates 17 at appropriate intervals on top of the cover plate 17 and fixing the inner ends thereof with a connecting plate 21. A sliding groove 24 opening at the front end is formed, into which the sliding piece 4 of the sliding member 2 is inserted. Further, on the lower surface of the movable guide members 15, 15, a rotary leg piece 25 is vertically provided, and the lower end thereof is formed with a circular fitting part 26 that fits into the semicircular receiving groove 10. 15, 15 are supported by mounting pieces 7, 7 so as to be rotatable in the direction adjacent to buildings x, x. Therefore, in this example,
The semicircular receiving groove 10 and the circular fitting portion 26 constitute a connecting portion.
