Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform low temp. drying by combining two corrugated board- shaped housing plates as one set to grasp a steam steel pipe by the respective semicylindrical parts of one set of the housing plates and integrally bonding one set of the housing plates. CONSTITUTION:Two housing plates 2 are combined as one set and steam steel pipes 1 are grasped by the semicylindrical parts of the respective housing plates 2. Then, the flat plate parts 3 of the housing plates 2 are integrally bonded by spot welding. When steam is allowed to flow to the steam pipes 1 forming a heater H to heat the steam steel pipes 1, since the housing plates 2 are in close contact with the outer peripheries of the steam steel pipes 1, heat is transferred to the housing plates 2 from the steam steel pipes 1 to heat the housing plates 2. Whereupon, far infrared rays are emitted to irradiate a painted object 8 to dry the same. By this method, low temp. drying can be efficiently performed.

For example, when drying a painted object such as a woodwork or resin-shaped object, if the temperature of the heater is increased to speed up the drying speed, the high temperature heating Items may be thermally deformed or altered in quality. For this reason, drying of painted objects that dislike high temperatures as mentioned above is
It is preferable to carry out the heating at a low heating temperature. However, when the heating temperature of the heater is lowered, the drying efficiency decreases rapidly. On the other hand, it is known that when far infrared rays are irradiated onto a paint whose main component is resin, the paint dries quickly because the far infrared rays are efficiently absorbed by the infrared rays.

The present invention mainly aims at lowering the surface temperature by increasing the radiation area of far-infrared rays when drying materials that are thermally deformed or altered in quality when heated at high temperatures as described above. The objective was to provide a steam-type far-infrared heater that can ensure the necessary amount of radiant heat as a whole, thereby reducing the temperature difference with the material to be dried, and performing low-temperature drying. .. [Means for Solving the Problems] A steam-type far-infrared heater according to the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems has a large number of heaters for passing steam. A steam steel pipe, the surface of which is coated with far-infrared emitting ceramics, and a number of half cylinder parts corresponding to the shape of the steam steel pipe are provided at predetermined intervals to form a corrugated plate shape. A steam steel pipe is sandwiched between each half-cylindrical part of a pair of housing plates.
It is characterized in that the pair of housing plates are integrally joined. [Operation of the invention] Heat is conducted from the steel pipe heated by the steam to the housing plate, and the housing plate is heated. Since the surface of the housing plate is coated with far-infrared emitting ceramics, far-infrared rays are emitted by heating the housing plate, and the far-infrared rays irradiate and heat the material to be dried, thereby drying it. On the other hand, the pair of housing plates that sandwich the steam steel pipe function as seed fins for the steam steel pipe, so the heat transfer area increases, and the radiant heat transfer area increases. , the amount of heat transferred to the air in contact with this also increases. This increases the temperature of the air, and the material to be dried is also heated by the heat transfer effect of the convection of the air, thereby supplementally drying it. In this way, a steam steel pipe is sandwiched between each half-cylindrical portion of a pair of housing plates whose surfaces are coated with far-infrared emitting ceramics, and the pair of housing plates are joined together. Since the surface area (radiation area) of the far-infrared heater becomes large, the required amount of radiant heat can be secured as a whole even if the surface temperature is lowered. Therefore, the temperature with the material to be dried can be maintained without reducing the drying efficiency. It becomes possible to reduce the difference and perform low-temperature drying. [Example] The present invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Examples below. Steam-type far-infrared heater (hereinafter simply referred to as heater) H is
It consists of a large number of steam steel pipes 1 for passing steam and a pair of temporary housings 2. The housing plate 2 is made by pressing a steel plate.
A large number of semi-cylindrical parts 3 corresponding to the shape of the steam steel pipe 1 are provided in the length direction at predetermined intervals along the width direction,
It is formed into a corrugated plate shape. A number of semi-cylindrical parts 3 are provided on the same side of the housing plate 2. The flat plate portion 4 between the adjacent semi-cylindrical portions 3 in the temporary housing 2 includes:
Air circulation holes 5 are provided at predetermined intervals along the length. The surface 2a of the housing plate 2 is coated with far-infrared emitting ceramics such as zirconia and alumina to a thickness of 0.01 to 0.2H. These housing plates 2 are made into a set of two, the steam steel pipe 1 is sandwiched between the semi-cylindrical part 3 of each temporary housing 2, and the flat plate part 4 of each temporary housing 2 is welded (W) to form one body. When joined, the semi-cylindrical part 3 of the housing plate 2 comes into close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the steam steel pipe 1 and holds it there. In this way, the positions of the large number of steam steel pipes l that control the pipe row are determined by the semi-cylindrical portion 3 of the housing plate 2, and the positions of the large number of steam steel pipes l and one set of the housing plate 2 are determined by the semi-cylindrical portion 3 of the housing plate 2. are assembled together. Note that the means for joining the two housing plates 2 together is not limited to spot welding, and may also be bolts, for example. As shown in FIG. 4, heaters H having the above-mentioned configuration are arranged on both left and right sides and the upper part of the stationary furnace 6, and steam is flowed through the steam steel pipe l, which is placed on the receiving shelf 7. Dry the painted object 8. In the illustrated stationary furnace 6,
A discharge duct 1l and a suction duct 1 are installed inside the furnace wall 9.
2 is installed, and a fan 13 circulates the air inside the furnace to generate convection, thereby eliminating temperature imbalances in various parts of the furnace. A heater H is arranged close to each of the discharge and suction ducts 11 and 12, and air circulation holes 5 are provided in the flat plate portion 4 of the housing plate 2 constituting the heater H. Therefore, air can smoothly convect through the air circulation holes 5 in the furnace without the heater H becoming an obstacle. When steam is passed through the steam steel pipe l that constitutes the heater H and the steam steel pipe 1 is heated, the housing plate 2 is in close contact with the outer periphery of the steam steel pipe 1. Heat is conducted to plate 2, which is heated. Since the surface 2a of the housing plate 2 is coated with far-infrared emitting ceramics, far-infrared rays are emitted by heating the housing plate 2, and the painted object 8 held on the receiving shelf 7 is irradiated with the far-infrared rays. , the paint is heated. The coated object 8 is heated and dried mainly by this far-infrared ray irradiation. In addition, the housing F that holds the steam steel pipe l
Since i2 acts as a fin for the steam steel pipe l, the heat transfer area becomes large, increasing the temperature of the air in the furnace in contact with it, and convection is created in the air in the furnace by the action of the fan l3. As a result, the coated object 8 is heated and additionally dried by heat transfer due to contact with the heated air. Also, heater H is 177! cL housing plate 2
Since the surface 2a of is coated with far-infrared radiation ceramics, the surface area (radiation area) as a far-infrared heater is
is large, and even if the surface temperature is lowered, the amount of radiant heat required for drying can be secured. For this reason, heater H
Even if the surface temperature of the dryer is lowered to reduce the temperature difference between the coated article 8 and the coated article 8, the coated article 8 can be dried without reducing efficiency. Therefore, the coated object 8 is not overheated during drying. In the above embodiment, the housing plate 2 has a flat plate shape, but the drying efficiency may be increased by curving the housing plate 2 in accordance with the shape of the object to be heated. Furthermore, the heater according to the present invention is
It is suitable for drying painted objects using urethane paints and alkyd paints that easily absorb far infrared rays.
This is an example of use in which a base coat, an intermediate coat, and a top coat are applied to an object to be coated using these paints, and then the coated object is dried using the heater of the present invention, and then polished to produce a product. The same applies to the water content of each paint that has been applied as a base coat, intermediate coat, and a filler to the object to be coated using the heater according to the present invention as a top coat with an ultraviolet curable paint and preheating drying before ultraviolet curing and drying. (c) is an example of use in which the heater according to the present invention is used to pre-dry an object to be coated before coating with ultraviolet curable paint; (2) After painting with the ultraviolet curable paint, the solvent in the paint applied to the object to be painted is dried by the heater according to the present invention,
This is an example of use when the coating film is then cured by UV irradiation. The heater according to the present invention is most suitable for low-temperature drying of coated objects such as woodwork and resin molded products, but the objects to be dried are not necessarily limited to these, and are often used for printing where low-temperature drying is preferred. It is also suitable for drying inks and dyes dyed on textiles. [Effects of the invention] (1) The surface area (radiation area) of the far-infrared heater is increased, and even if the surface temperature is lowered, the necessary amount of irradiation heat can be secured, so the drying efficiency can be reduced without reducing the drying efficiency. It is possible to dry at a low temperature with a small temperature difference from the dried material. For this reason, it is suitable for drying painted objects such as woodwork and resin-shaped objects that are easily thermally deformed or altered by high-temperature heating. It is.

(2) The housing plates that sandwich the steam steel pipe function as fins for the steam steel pipe, so the heat transfer area becomes large, and the air in contact with it is heated by heat transfer, and the effect of this heat transfer Also, drying is accelerated because the material to be dried is additionally dried. (3) The heat of the steam steel pipe heated by the steam is conducted to the housing plate coated with far-infrared radiation emitting ceramics by conduction heat transfer, and the far-infrared rays are thereby radiated. It is sufficient if the distance between the steel pipes can be increased and the thickness of the housing plate can ensure the required assembly strength. This makes the heater lightweight and easy to handle.
(4) Since a large number of steam steel pipes and a set of two housing plates are assembled into one unit, the heater according to the present invention can be installed in a drying oven or dryer body. When installing, there is no need to install the steam steel pipes one by one, making the installation easier.
