Abstract

PURPOSE:To cut a cut surface shape of the pipe material into the optional curved surface by synchronizing vertical moving of a work fixing jig with rotation of the wheel to perform cutting of the pipe material to rotate with a wheel. CONSTITUTION:The work fixing jig 1 is fitted to an articulated robot 11 controlled by a control panel and the work fixing jig 1 is moved vertically in synchronization with rotation of the wheel 2. Plasma or a laser beam cutting device 12 is arranged on one side of the tip of the pipe material 6. ーを設けてプレス機で切断するものは、専用のカッター
が必要であり、パイプ材の形状の変形ができて精度か劣
り、切断角度にも限度がある。

装置は、ワーク固定治具にクランプを取付けたホイール
を回転可能に軸着し、パイプ材の先端をホイールの中央
孔に挿入してクランプで固定し、パイプ材の先端片側に
プラズマ又はレーザー切断機を設け、ホイールを回転さ
せながらワーク固定治具を同期させて上下に移動させ、
パイプ材を任意の切断面形状に切断するようにしたこと
にある。

ナットランナーなどで締付けできるようにしてある。ホ
イール2は、モーター8の動輪9に、タイミングベルト
10などで連結して回転させる。ワーク固定治具1は、
制御盤で制御される多関節ロボット11に取付け、ホイ
ール2の回転に同期させてワーク固定治具1を上下に移
動させる。パイプ材6の先端片側には、プラズマ又はレ
ーザー切断機12を配置する。パイプ材6のプラズマ又
はレーザー切断機12に対向する部分を切断しながら、
ホイール2の回転とワーク固定治具1の上下移動で、パ
イプ材6を回転させながら上下移動させることによって
、パイプ材6の切断面形状を曲面に切断できる。そして
、ワーク固定治具1の上下移動を制御することによって
、任意の曲面の切断面形状に切断できる。

材のプラズマ又はレーザー切断機で切断する位置を可変
できて、切断面を曲面にできる。しかも、ワーク固定治
具の上下移動幅を制御することで、任意の曲面に切断で
きる。こうして、専用のカッターを必要とすることなく
、短時間で能率よく安価にパイプ材を任意の曲面に切断
することができる。
