Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure the dimension of a space between a balance weight and a buffer by a single person so as to detect an elongation amount of a main rope by providing a measuring device which measures the dimension of the space between the balance weight and the buffer. CONSTITUTION:A magnet unit 12 adheres to the lower part of a balance weight 3 in a condition that an extending/contracting unit 11 of a measuring device 10 is extended with a maintenance person riding on a cage 2. Next the balance weight 3 is lowered to the lowermost part of a lift path 1. Here in the case of extending a main rope 4, the extending/contracting unit 11, whose point end is brought into contact with a buffer 9, is contracted. Next the extending/ contracting unit 11 is maintained in a contracted condition when the balance weight 3 is lifted. Then a length of the extending/contracting unit 11 is actually measured by the maintenance person staying on the riding cage 2 by lowering it till the cage becomes flush with the measuring device 10, and an elongation amount of the main rope 4 is detected by measuring a space between the balance weight 3 and the buffer 9.

[Prior Art] Generally, in an elevator, the weight of the car and the counterweight is applied to the main rope, so the main rope gradually stretches. As a result, the gap between the counterweight located at the bottom of the hoistway and the buffer for this counterweight will become smaller, so check the amount of stretch of the main rope and always maintain the above gap. It is designed to maintain the specified dimensions.

Conventionally, in order to detect the amount of stretch of the main rope, one maintenance worker would stop the passenger car on the top floor, and another person would remove the counterweight and shock absorber from the pit at the bottom of the hoistway. It was designed to measure the gap between the two.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] By the way, in the above-mentioned conventional technology, two maintenance personnel are required to measure the gap between the counterweight and the shock absorber, which reduces work efficiency. There was a problem with it being bad. Additionally, in order to ensure the safety of maintenance personnel who enter the bit at the bottom of the hoistway, it is necessary to stop the operation of the elevator while measuring the above-mentioned gap dimensions, which causes the problem of a decrease in the elevator operating rate. Ta. As a means of solving this problem, it has been proposed to install a sensor inside the bit, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 58-137679, but it has not been put into practical use due to the high cost. It had not been done.

[Function] Since the present invention is constructed as described above, a maintenance person rides on the carriage and raises the carriage to the top of the hoistway in preparation for the counterweight located at the bottom of the hoistway. Activate the measuring device provided, and use this measuring device to measure the gap size between the buffer and the shock absorber. Next, the seat is lowered until the height of the maintenance person on the car is the same as the height of the measuring device at the bottom of the counterweight, and the maintenance person on the car measures the measurement value of the above-mentioned measuring device. read. This eliminates the need for maintenance personnel to enter the pit, and allows one person to measure the gap between the counterweight and the shock absorber.

As shown in FIG. 2, the measuring device 10 of this embodiment is provided at the bottom of the counterweight 3, facing the buffer winding 9. Also, this measuring device I! Reference numeral 10 denotes an extensible antenna-like extensible body 11 composed of, for example, four cylinders each having a different diameter, and a magnet body 12 that is attached to the base of this extensible body 11 and can be attached to the lower part of the counterweight 3. It consists of The above-mentioned expandable body 11 contracts when pressed in the longitudinal direction by an external force, and then, when the external force is released, does not expand or contract and maintains its length dimension, that is, the distance between it and the buffer 9 is reduced. It is configured to measure the gap size and hold the measured value.

In this embodiment, a maintenance worker rides on the passenger seat 2 and extends the telescopic body 11 of the measuring device 10 while holding the magnet 1.
2 is attached to the bottom of the counterweight 3. Next, when the car 2 is raised to the top of the hoistway 1, the counterweight 3 is guided by the second @ guide rail 13 and lowered to the bottom.

At this time, for example, if the gap size between the counterweight 3 and the shock absorber 9 is smaller than a predetermined value because the main rope 4 is stretched considerably, the tip of the elastic body 11 of the measuring device 10 will come into contact with the shock absorber 9. The extensible body 11 contracts. Next, when the counterweight 3 is raised by operating the rider 2, the purifying body 11
The shrunken state is maintained when touched. Therefore, the rider and the rider 2 are lowered until the height is the same as that of the measuring device 1o, and the maintenance person above the rider and the rider lifts the measuring device! The measured value of 1o, that is, the length dimension of the expandable body 11 is actually measured.

In the embodiment configured in this way, it is not necessary for a maintenance person to enter the pit 7, and moreover, the gap size between the counterweight 3 and the shock absorber 9 can be measured by one person. Also,
Since the measuring device 10 has a relatively simple structure consisting of an extensible body 11 and a magnet body 12, the cost is not increased. Since the measuring device 10 has the magnet bodies 1 and 2,
It can be attached to various different counterweights via this magnet 12, so that the gap size between the counterweights and shock absorbers of many elevators can be measured with one measuring device 10, and it can be installed in each elevator. Installation costs can be reduced compared to

C Effects of the Invention] Since the present invention is configured as described above, it is possible to measure the gap size between the counterweight and the shock absorber by one person, and therefore the work efficiency can be improved. be. Furthermore, it is not necessary for maintenance personnel to enter the pit to measure the above-mentioned gap dimensions, and therefore, the time during which the operation of the boarding area is stopped can be shortened, and in other words, the operating rate of the elevator can be improved. There is also this effect.
