Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a feed having action of improving fat metabolism of livestock and reducing the amount of accumulated body fats by adding respective specific amounts of valine, leucine and isoleucine as amino acid ingredients to a feed for the livestock and enriching the feed. CONSTITUTION:Valine, leucine and isoleucine in respective amounts within the range of 0.01-3wt.% as amino acid ingredients are added to enrich a feed composed of fish meal, soybean cake, corn, wheat flour, soybean oil, vitamins, minerals, etc., for livestock. The resultant feed can be then supplied to the livestock to reduce the amount of accumulated body fats without effecting living body weight of the livestock. Thereby, a livestock product fit for the recent trend requiring the livestock product with a low body fat content for reasons of human health can be provided.

By the way, it has long been known that ingesting a large amount of protein in your diet reduces the amount of body fat accumulated. In vitro studies have shown that this is because amino acids, which are constituents of proteins, inhibit fat synthesis in adipocytes.
It has been proven from experiments.

In this in vitro experiment, the substances with the greatest degree of inhibition of fat synthesis were alanine, valine, cystine,
The order of these amino acids is methionine, leucine, isoleucine, lysine, etc., but with the exception of lysine and methionine, there have been almost no tests on the ability of these amino acids to inhibit fat synthesis by administering them to animals or humans. .

Furthermore, it has been known that feeding livestock with feed containing feather meal as a feed ingredient reduces the amount of body fat accumulated in the livestock, but the second cause has not been clarified.

In order to develop a feed that reduces body fat accumulation, the present inventors investigated the effects of feeding the various amino acids mentioned above on body fat accumulation to broilers, and
We also researched the causes of Mir's body fat loss. As a result, it was discovered that a feed enriched with three types of amino acids: valine, leucine, and isoleucine suppresses the amount of body fat accumulated, thereby completing the present invention.

If the amount of each of the above amino acids added is less than 0.01% by weight, there will be no effect of suppressing body fat accumulation;
If it exceeds 0.00% by weight, the amino acid balance will be too disturbed, resulting in unfavorable results in terms of weight gain.
