なつている。 That is, to explain the structure of the lock mechanism 17, reference numeral 18 in the figure is a reciprocating member having a flange 18a on the base side. A lock pawl 19 constituting a lock portion and a protrusion portion 20 constituting a protruding/recessing portion are connected to the distal end portion of the reciprocating member 18 in a U-shape. The base of the reciprocating member 18 configured in this manner is inserted into the sliding hole 21a of the support member 21 provided on the side of the side wall portion of the partition wall 9 corresponding to the side of the cover 13 so as to be freely retractable. . Further, at the tip of the reciprocating member 18, a lock pawl 19 passes through the through holes 22a and 22b, which are respectively bored in the gap of the guide groove 10a, at the position of the cover 13 in the closed state. It is arranged so that it can be protruded and retracted into the immediate vicinity, and the protrusion 20 is inserted into the through hole 22.
b, and is disposed so as to be able to protrude and retract to the outside of the cover 13 through the cover 13. A spring member 23 is interposed on the flange 18a side of the advancing/retracting member to urge the advancing/retracting member 18 toward the guide insertion path 10 side, and a guide is provided on the distal end surface of the protrusion 20 for guiding the protruding/retracting motion. The distal end surface of a leaf spring member 24 having an oblique guide surface 24a provided on the outside of the insertion path 10 is in contact with the plate spring member 24 through the through hole 22b. Therefore, the lock mechanism 17 normally locks the cover 13 in the closed state by the lock pawl 19 that is biased by the spring member 13 and retractably protrudes inward from the side of the guide insertion path 10. size,
By inserting the required expansion unit 3 including the shape along the guide insertion path 10, the protrusion 20
The cover 13 is retracted, and the locking claw 19 is retracted to release the lock of the cover 13, so that the extension unit 3 can be controlled to be received into the main body 2.

ユニツト3自体も光源装置1に接続される。 When attaching the expansion unit 3 to the light source device 1, the expansion unit 3 is inserted into the insertion opening 4 with the connector 6 side as the insertion end, so that the guides 5, 5 engage with the guide grooves 10a, 10a and are supported. , are also guided to the guide insertion path 10. The expansion unit 3 guided along the guide insertion path 10 is then inserted into the guide surface 2 of the leaf spring member 24.
4a, the leaf spring member 24 is pushed in, so that the protrusion 20 retracts against the elastic force of the spring member 23, and at the same time the lock pawl 19 that locks the cover 13 retracts. As a result, the cover 13 is unlocked, and as the expansion unit 3 is inserted, the cover 13 is pressed against the support shaft 1.
It gradually opens with 5 as the fulcrum, and finally opens fully. In this way, the connector 6 is connected to the connection board 11 on the main body 2 side by successive pushing (insertion) of the expansion unit 3, and when the required connection is completed, the insertion of the expansion unit 3 is restricted by the stopper 12. As shown in FIG. 4, the expansion unit 3 is electrically connected by a one-touch operation such as insertion, and the expansion unit 3 itself is also connected to the light source device 1.

強固にすることができる利点をもつ。 Therefore, since the connection board 11 on the main body 2 side is protected by the cover 13 with a lock, there is a risk of danger if the user etc. touches the power line, and there is a risk of dust and dirt on the signal line causing poor contact. Further, it is possible to prevent troubles such as those caused by not covering the cover when not in use, and to ensure high safety and reliability. Moreover, since the expansion unit 3 can be connected with just one touch, operation is easy, and since the expansion unit 3 itself is connected to the light source device 1, there is no need for any cords, and furthermore, the expansion unit 3 can be connected to another location. The advantage is that there is no need to place Furthermore, by employing the locking mechanism 17 that allows only the required expansion units 3 to open the cover 13, it is possible to prevent erroneous connections such as when another expansion unit 3 is erroneously connected at the same time. Further, since the cover 13 is always urged in the closing direction by the spring member 16, when the connected expansion unit 13 is removed, the cover 13 will be closed by the spring member 16.
Since the insertion opening 4 is automatically closed by the elastic force of 6 and locked by the lock claw 19, the insertion opening 4 can be closed without requiring any troublesome operations. Moreover, even if the cover 13 is opened by recessing the protrusion 20 and the locking claw 19, the cover 13
Since it is adapted to be closed by the spring member 16, it is also possible to prevent the contacts from being touched by mischief. In addition, when inserting the expansion unit 3, the use of guide grooves 10a, 10a has the advantage of facilitating the connection operation and making it possible to firmly hold the expansion unit 3.

For example, in the above-mentioned embodiment, a technique was adopted in which the locking mechanism 17, in which the locking pawl 19 and the protrusion 20 were connected, was disposed so as to be protrusive and retractable on the side of the guide insertion path 10, but the present invention is not limited to this.
An electromagnetic solenoid (not shown) is arranged on the 3 side, and a sensor (not shown) such as a photoelectric element is arranged in the guide insertion path 10, and the cover 13 is normally kept in a closed state through communication between the sensor and the electromagnetic solenoid. The cover 13 may be unlocked when the required expansion unit 3 is inserted along the guide insertion path 10, and according to the technology employing such sensors and electromagnetic solenoids, the arrangement, shape, etc. It has the advantage of being free from restrictions and having a rich degree of freedom.

By providing a locking mechanism (the lock cannot be released with fingers, sticks, etc.), the locking cover protects the connection parts of electrical equipment and ensures safety, and prevents connection failures due to dust, etc. In addition, since the cover is designed to close when the electrical device is unplugged after the lock is released, the connection part can be reliably protected. Moreover, at the same time, the locking of the cover prevents erroneous connection in which another separate electrical device is inserted into the electrical device, resulting in excellent safety and reliability. In addition, when connecting a separate electrical device, it is inserted through the guide insertion path and electrically connected through the connection part, so it can be operated with a simple one-touch operation without the need for a cord or placing it in a separate location. It is effective if you do it.
