Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 感光体上に形成された静電潜像と同極性の
    現像剤により反転現像する現像手段と、静電潜像
    の極性に対して、逆極性のコロナ電流を転写材の
    裏面に放出することにより現像された顕像を静電
    気的に転写材表面に転写する転写帯電手段とを備
    え、サイズの異なる複数種類の転写材を用いるこ
    とができる画像形成装置において、 前記転写帯電手段よりコロナ電流を放出する際
    に、前記転写材のサイズに応じて前記感光体の非
    転写域にコロナ電流が流れないようにシールドす
    るシールド手段を備えたことを特徴とする画像形
    成装置。 (2) 前記請求項１において、前記シールド手段
    は、紙サイズ切換え用紙ガイド等の転写材サイズ
    を切り換える機構と連動していることを特徴とす
    る画像形成装置。
