欠して前記切込みの桟側切込み口下縁部が載置さ
れるべく幅広な上段載置面を設けると共に、頭側
の差し込み側の角部の端縁部に沿つて前記上段載
置面より下方へ段差を介して適宜谷部に至るまで
の幅を有する下段載置面を水平に形成し、該下段
載置面と上段載置面との段差に対応して瓦本体桟
側の尻側の隅角部に、下段載置面に載置されるべ
き尻側載置面を形成する様に切欠した屋根瓦を提
供して上記欠点を解消せんとするものである。

段載置面10との段差に対応して瓦本体1桟16
側の尻3側の隅角部31に、下段載置面14に載
置されるべき尻側載置面21を形成する様に切欠
したので、上段載置面10上に切込み17の桟1
6側切込み口下縁部30を載置すると共に、下段
載置面14上に尻側載置面21を載置することに
より、左右方向の寸法調整時は上段載置面10及
び下段載置面14が水平に形成されているため、
瓦本体1を左右へスライドさせても、その水平状

ライド調整することが出来、又そのスライド調整
寸法を下段載置面14と尻側載置面21との合計
幅と成すことにより、寸法調整を容易にして施工
時における作業に熟練を用することが無く、工数
軽減を図ることが出来、更にかかる状態におい
て、尻側載置面21が下段載置面14と上段載置
面10との段差に対応して形成されているため、
瓦相互の重合箇所に生ずる間隙を減縮し、かかる
箇所から雨水が侵入した場合においても瓦の表面
に落下させるので完全に雨水の漏れをも防止する
ことが出来る等その実用的効果甚だ大なるもので
ある。
