Livestock such as cows and horses are usually raised outdoors, but the outdoor environment is influenced by the weather, so the livestock may be exposed to the scorching sun or exposed to wind and rain, leading to weakening. In addition, pests frequently fly in and bite the backs and bellies of livestock, making it easy for livestock to waste energy and become stressed out trying to chase them away. Furthermore, there is a risk that infectious diseases may spread through pests.

Therefore, livestock barns and shelters are set up to house livestock during times of extreme heat or bad weather, and insecticides are sprayed directly onto the bodies of livestock to exterminate pests. However, it costs a huge amount of money to install livestock barns and shelters that have a suitable size and ventilation for livestock, and the reality is that such facilities are rarely installed due to economic reasons. In addition, when spraying insecticides directly on the bodies of livestock, it is not possible to use highly toxic pesticides due to residual toxicity in the livestock bodies and environmental pollution, so the insect repellent effect is not so good. .

In addition, under the scorching summer sun, the surface of the above-mentioned chilli sand is sometimes coated with aluminum powder in a silver color to enhance the effect of blocking sunlight. Because it is fluffy, it has the disadvantage that aluminum powder does not easily adhere to it.Therefore, it has insufficient shading effect against sunlight.
The drawback is that the body temperature of livestock rises under the scorching sun, resulting in significant loss of physical strength. Furthermore, in winter, even if you try to increase the heat retention effect by blocking the infrared rays emitted from the skin surface of livestock with the above-mentioned cold sand, the heat retention effect will not be effective because the infrared rays tend to escape through the gaps between the round woven threads. It becomes insufficient.

In order to achieve the above object, the livestock clothing of the present invention includes:
The animal is provided with a fabric part that covers at least a part of the body of the livestock, and an attachment means for attaching the fabric part to the livestock, and the fabric part is made of a split-fiber nonwoven fabric made of polyvinyl alcohol fibers.

That is, in the livestock clothing of the present invention, since the fabric portion is composed of a split nonwoven fabric made of polyvinyl alcohol fibers, each fiber constituting the fabric is flat and the fiber surface is not fluffy. Therefore, rainwater slides down the flat surface and is hardly absorbed into the fibers. In addition, it has good coating properties when coated with aluminum powder and produces a silver-colored fabric with a high light-shielding effect, so when it is worn by livestock under the scorching summer sun, it reduces the physical exertion of the livestock. Furthermore, since the flat fibers effectively prevent body heat from escaping from the skin surface of livestock, it has high heat retention properties for livestock.

The livestock clothing of the present invention is intended to be worn by livestock such as cows and horses. For example, clothing intended for cattle has a shape as shown in FIG. That is, this clothing includes a fabric portion 1 that covers the back side of the cow from the front, and a string-like member that ties the fabric portion 1 under the neck and abdomen to prevent the fabric portion 1 from easily falling off the cow's body. 2.3. The above-mentioned string-like bodies 2゜3 each connect the above-mentioned fabric portion 1 to the diagonal line P in the figure.
As shown in the figure, it is made up of a series of strings (made of heavily coated rubber) that run across each other, and the parts that hang downward from the left and right ends of the fabric are tied together. The string-like body 2.3,
The overlapping portion P with the fabric portion 1 is joined by stitching to reinforce the fabric portion 1. Further, a string made of the same material as above is joined to a portion (indicated by chain line Q in the figure) extending along the spine of the fabric portion 1,
Similarly, fabric portion 1 is reinforced. In addition, a ring string 6 is attached to the center of the buttock side edge of the fabric portion 1, through which the cow's tail S is inserted to prevent the fabric portion 1 from shifting from side to side (Figs. 2 and 3). reference).

Similarly, clothing for cows is shown in Figure 2. In contrast to the one in Figure 1, in which the neck and torso were tied together with a string 2.3, this garment has a ring string 7 that passes through the neck, and a ring string 8.9 that passes through the left and right front legs, respectively. It has been established. In addition, in this garment, in addition to reinforcing the neck area, the waist area P, and the spine area Q, similar to the one in FIG. A string is joined to the rear edge S on the buttock side for reinforcement.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 3, a ring string 10 may be provided that is inserted through both front legs and hung around the torso. In this case, when worn, the base of the ring portion 10 is pulled strongly as shown by the arrow, so reinforcing strings are also attached to the parts that diagonally cross the body side (the same goes for the body side on the opposite side) as shown in the figure. Bonding is preferred.

The PVA-based split nonwoven fabric obtained in this way has excellent moisture absorption and weather resistance, and each split fiber is flat, so unlike the conventional cryogenic method in which twisted yarns are woven,
Coating property of aluminum powder, impermeability of rainwater,
It has excellent heat retention and does not cause discomfort even when worn by livestock.

In addition, it is desirable that each of the split fibers of the web has thick fibers A and thin fibers B arranged regularly at a predetermined ratio, that is, the width of A is 0.5 to 1. .5
It is preferable that the width of B is set to about 1/3 to 1/10 of the width of A, with a width of about ms. Preferably, the fibers are split so that 1 to 10 fibers B are lined up while the fibers A are lined up at predetermined intervals. In addition, the ratio of voids created by splitting to the total area of the web (
This is called "porosity") is 5 to 50%, especially 20 to 3
It is preferable to set it to 5%. When these conditions are met, various effects such as strength, air permeability, and heat retention are fully exhibited, making the fabric more preferable as a fabric for clothing for livestock.

Further, the entire surface of the split nonwoven fabric may be colored silver with aluminum powder. This increases the effect of blocking sunlight, making it possible to more effectively protect livestock from the intense heat of the scorching sun. The silver coloring with aluminum powder can be achieved by spray coating the surface of the nonwoven fabric with aluminum powder afterwards, or by using a glue containing aluminum powder when adhering the webs together. The (web) itself may be impregnated with aluminum powder.
