Impellers, especially impellers for blowers that handle gases that contain a lot of solid particulate dust, such as those used for boiler waste gas or for exhausting air with a lot of dirt and dust, are equipped with metal liners or metal liners for parts that are prone to wear. It has been given wear-resistant overlay and has been used after many repairs.

In recent years, ceramics have been used as a material with excellent wear resistance, and wear-resistant pieces are attached to blades to protect the base material.

However, in conventional impellers, wear-resistant pieces with square or rectangular surfaces are often arranged side by side from the end where they begin to be attached to the blade, and the boundaries between the wear-resistant pieces, which are approximately parallel to the dust flow direction, are multiple. Dust and foreign matter flowed through the boundary lines that continued across the rows, causing severe erosion of the base material from these areas, which was a problem.

The present invention aims to eliminate these conventional problems and provide an impeller that can reduce erosion of the base material from the interface by fluid.

The present invention provides an impeller in which a plurality of wear-resistant pieces are attached adjacent to the blades, the wear-resistant pieces are made of ceramic, and each wear-resistant piece is arranged in a shape and arrangement without a boundary line parallel to the fluid flow direction. This is an impeller characterized by the fact that the impeller is arranged on the blade surface.

In FIGS. 1 to 3, the impeller 1 has a hub 2,
It consists of a main plate 3, a side plate 4, and a blade 5, and a wear-resistant piece 6 made of ceramic with a U-shaped cross section is attached to the inlet edge 7 of the blade 5, and the surface of the blade 5 is oriented in the direction of fluid flow. A large number of parallelogram-shaped ceramic wear-resistant pieces 8 with no parallel edges are arranged in the dust flow direction 1.
5 and the boundary line 11 are not parallel to each other, a plurality of rows of wear-resistant pieces 8 are pasted in a staggered manner every other row.

Therefore, since the boundary line 11 is not parallel to the dust flow direction 15, erosion of the base material from the boundary line 11 is largely prevented.

In FIG. 4, hexagonal wear pieces 8 are arranged so that none of the boundary lines 11 between adjacent wear pieces 8 are parallel to the dust flow direction 15. In this case, a large number of wear-resistant pieces 8 are laid out on an adhesive sheet and integrated together before being pasted, but when making this integrated sheet, hexagonal wear-resistant pieces 8 are placed on an inclined surface. 8 and when vibrated, they will naturally stick together and form a honeycomb arrangement, making it extremely easy to create an integrated sheet.

FIG. 5 shows an example in which square wear-resistant pieces 8 are arranged at an angle of about 45 degrees to the dust flow direction 15, and in either case, no boundary line parallel to the dust flow direction occurs.

In this invention, the wear-resistant pieces are made of ceramic, and each wear-resistant piece is arranged on the blade surface in a shape and arrangement that does not have a boundary line parallel to the fluid flow direction. The impeller has no place parallel to the wear-resistant piece, which eliminates the flow of dust and foreign matter through the boundary line, and reduces erosion of the base material due to fluid injection from the wear-resistant piece boundary line, preventing the wear-resistant piece from falling off. It can also be used for a long period of time and has good durability.
