(B) Prior art In general, electric floats used for night fishing have an optical fiber integrally protruding from the float body containing a built-in light emitting element, and a plurality of luminescent parts are provided in the axial direction of the optical fiber. There is a device that has a light emitting section that diffuses incident light from the light emitting element outward, thereby functioning as a marker for confirming changes in the state of floats floating on the water surface.

However, the conventional brightening part has a so-called ring-shaped recessed part formed in a suitable position of the optical fiber shaft and having a U-shaped cross section that goes around the circumferential surface of the shaft.

Due to this recessed part, the incident light transmitted through the core layer of the optical fiber is dissipated to the outside from the recessed part that goes around the fiber axis, and on the other hand, this notched groove serves as a marker to notify changes in the state of the float. In other words, stress concentration occurs in the concave portion, and there are disadvantages such as the optical fiber being easily damaged by external impact.

Therefore, in recent years, an electric float as shown in FIG. 3 has been proposed in order to enhance the mechanical strength of this bright part (concave part).

The luminous part (concave part) 51 of this electric float 5 is placed in a core layer 53 at an appropriate position of an optical fiber (shaft for labeling) 52.
An arcuate groove 54 having a depth of 100 mm is cut out in a ring shape (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 59-122073).

According to this luminous part having an arc-shaped cross section, the joint part between the recessed part and the core part continuous with the recessed part has a curved surface shape, and it is possible to form a small step difference in the continuous part. Therefore, stress concentration can be reduced compared to the conventional concave portion having a U-shaped cross section, and the mechanical strength of the marker shaft can be increased to some extent.

(c) Problems to be solved by the invention The arc-shaped recess mentioned above is the sign shaft (core part)
A so-called ring-shaped notch is formed around the circumferential surface of the ring. Therefore, there is a large difference between the length and central axis diameter of the recessed portion and the axis diameter of the core portion, and stress is concentrated in this stepped portion, resulting in problems such as still insufficient mechanical strength.

Therefore, in order to reduce the stress concentration in the bright part (concave part) and increase the mechanical strength, the groove bottom of the small circular arc groove is made shallow, the rounded radius of the groove bottom is made large, and the opening angle of the groove is made large. Measures such as doing so are being considered. However, when increasing the radius of the arcuate groove in order to reduce stress concentration in the bright part and increase mechanical strength, there is a disadvantage that the cross-sectional shape of the groove in the bright part is naturally limited. In addition, if the opening angle of the arcuate groove is increased and the opening area is set large, the amount of light dissipated will increase. There were disadvantages such as the amount of light emitted from the luminous part on the far side) was attenuated, and the sign effect was reduced.

An electric float consists of a float body with a built-in power source and a light source, and a marker shaft body that is attached to the tip of the float body and has a luminescent part that diffuses and shines incident light from the light source at an appropriate location. A plurality of luminescent parts provided on the label shaft are provided at appropriate locations on the label shaft, and each luminescent part is formed with a spiral luminescent groove, and the luminescent parts are provided on the tip side of the label shaft. The number of spiral grooves in the bright part provided on the base end side is set to be greater than the number of spiral grooves in the bright part provided on the proximal end side.

In an electric float having such a configuration, the grooves forming the luminescent portion are arranged in a spiral shape with respect to the marker shaft. Therefore, there is almost no difference between the axial cross-sectional diameter of the luminescent part and the axial diameter of the marker shaft (core part), and bending,
Stresses such as torsion and shearing are approximately uniform across the sign shaft. Therefore, external impact does not act intensively only on the bright part, and sufficient mechanical strength of the entire marker shaft is maintained.

Furthermore, since the number of spiral grooves in the bright part is greater on the distal end side than on the proximal end side, the amount of light diffused from the bright part on the distal end side is prevented from decreasing.

In the embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, the number of helices of the luminescent groove 31 of the luminescent part 3 provided on the proximal end side of the marker shaft 2, that is, on the side of the light emitting diode 13, is set to about 2, for example.
The number of spirals is approximately 4 turns in the bright portion 3 on the distal end side, and the number of spirals increases toward the distal end side. With this setting, the amount of light emitted from the light-emitting diode 13 is reduced on the base end side (light-emitting diode side) of the marker shaft 2, and the amount of light emitted by the luminous section 3 provided at the tip of the marker shaft 2 is reduced. Prevents light from shining.

In the electric float having such a configuration, during night fishing, the luminous portion 3 of the indicator shaft 2 diffuses the light emitted from the light emitting diode 13, and exhibits an indicating effect indicating a change in the state of the float body 1.

Moreover, this luminous part 3 is formed in a spiral shape with respect to the marker shaft 2. Therefore, the axial cross-sectional diameter of the luminous part 3 has almost no difference from the 2-axial diameter of the marker shaft, and no large step difference occurs in the continuous part. Therefore, the stress is uniform over the entire marker shaft 2, and there is no disadvantage such as concentration of stress only on the bright part 3, and the mechanical strength is increased. Therefore, disadvantages such as damage to the bright part 3 due to slight external impact are eliminated.

Further, in the plurality of bright parts 3, the number of spiral grooves of the bright part 3 on the side of the light emitting diode 13 is set to be small, and the number of spiral grooves of the bright part 3 on the tip side is set to be large.
As a result, the amount of light emitted from the brightening section 3 located on the side of the light emitting diode 13 is reduced, the amount of light emitted from the tip brightening section 3 is maintained at an appropriate level, and an efficient display effect is achieved.

According to this invention, there is almost no big difference between the shaft diameter of the bright part and the shaft diameter of the sign shaft, and the stress is uniform with respect to the sign shaft, eliminating disadvantages such as stress concentration occurring only in the bright part. be done. Therefore, compared to the conventional arc-shaped groove that goes around the marker shaft in a ring shape, not only the mechanical strength is further enhanced, but also the groove can have an arbitrary cross-sectional shape, such as a U-shape, an arc shape, or It can be appropriately set to a shape such as a square groove shape.

In addition, since the number of spiral grooves in each bright part is set to be larger toward the distal end than the proximal end, the amount of light diffused by each bright part can be set to the desired appropriate amount, and the labeling effect can be further enhanced. It has achieved excellent effects.
