Therefore, if you were to stay underwater for a long time wearing these non-breathable clothes, there was a risk that you would not be able to breathe through your skin. In addition, as sports at sea have become popular, wetsuits have become more common, and even in such cases, breathability is necessary for hygiene reasons.

The present invention was developed in view of the above-mentioned matters, and the purpose is to provide a breathable material that can be used even underwater by providing ventilation holes that do not allow liquid to pass through, but allow gas to pass through. be.

A highly elastic non-breathable sheet made by foaming and molding a rubber material as its main component, laminated with a woven fabric of nylon or polyester fibers on at least one side, and then irradiated with a laser beam for an instant to prevent liquids from passing through. This is a material made of a large number of extremely small diameter ventilation holes that allow gas to pass through, and a method for manufacturing the same.

The present invention is as described above, and when used, vent holes that are breathable but do not allow liquid to pass through can be formed very easily, and since holes are not mechanically made, the threads of laminated fabrics do not break. There is no risk of the material fraying, as the material is melted by the heat of the laser beam, resulting in a clean finish around the hole, and when the material of the present invention is used in a wet suit, it can be used for long periods on or under water. It is also comfortable to use and can also be used for other packaging purposes.

A sheet 1 whose main component is a rubber material, and fabrics 2 and 3 are pasted on both sides of a sheet 1 formed by foam molding, and then a large number of ventilation holes 4 are formed using a laser beam to prevent liquid from passing through but allow gas to pass through. It is.

In this case, the shape of the ventilation hole 4 is a truncated cone shape, which is similar to the method of making holes in paper by passing sunlight through a lens, so the article can be placed close to the focal point. In this case, the resulting pores have extremely small diameters. For example, pores with a diameter of about 30 microns are obtained as a very average pore diameter, and pores of this size or smaller diameters do not allow liquid to pass through, but allow gas to pass through. Of course, the laser beam irradiation time only needs to be extremely short, from 1/1000 seconds to
If the irradiation time is long (5/1000 seconds), any cloth or synthetic resin sheet will burn. The fabrics 2 and 3 are preferably made of nylon and polyester fibers.

Since the present invention has the above-described configuration and manufacturing method, it is extremely easy to form vent holes that are breathable but do not allow liquid to pass through, and since the holes are not mechanically made, the threads of the laminated fabric can be easily formed. There is no risk of the material fraying, as the material is melted by the heat of the laser beam, resulting in a clean finish around the hole, and when the material of the present invention is used in a wet suit, it can be used for long periods on or under water. It can be used comfortably and can also be used for other packaging purposes, which has extremely remarkable effects.
