TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to remote control signaling. [Prior Art] The format of a conventional remote control signal is, for example, a custom code 1 determined for each manufacturer and component, as shown in FIGS. 3a and 3b.
and a data code 2 indicating the operation details of each component, or a leader code 3 indicating a signal (synchronization) to transmit remote control data, a custom code 1, an inverted custom code 4, a data code 2, and an inverted code. It consists of data code 5. Figure 4 is a detailed diagram of the format shown in Figure 3b, Figure 4a is the configuration diagram of Figure 3b, b is the reader code, c is the custom code, c is the data code, e indicates a continuous code that is output at intervals of, for example, 108 ms while the key is being pressed. The signal format consisting of the digital signal shown in FIG. 3 is generally modulated by the transmitter integrated circuit 10 at a carrier frequency as shown in FIG. 12. On the receiving side, as shown in FIG. 6B, the transmitted data is received by an infrared light receiving diode 13, amplified by an amplifier 14, and demodulated by a detection circuit 15. Based on the content of this signal, error checking and data content decoding processing are performed on the receiving side. The logic of the digital signal code is “1”, “0”
The distinction is actually sent using the method shown in FIG. FIG. 5a shows data "0", and FIG. 5b shows data "1". Further, in the method shown in FIG. 3a, the transmitting side sends the same format signal several times, and when the receiving side receives the same format signal several times in succession, it is determined that the signal has been received without error. The number of consecutive transmissions and receptions required to determine correctness differs depending on the system and the integrated circuit used. In the method shown in FIG. 3b, custom code 1, data code 2, and each inverted code are also sent, so the receiving side makes an error determination based on the correct code and inverted code. However, in the past, the data format was structured as shown in Figure 3.
In the case of , the inverted code is not sent, so there are few data bits, but the transmission and reception are not complete unless the same format signal is sent and received several times in succession. On the other hand, in the case of Figure 3b, the inverted code is also sent all at once. Therefore, if transmission and reception are performed correctly in one transmission and reception, the transmission and reception will be completed, but there is a problem in that the number of bits in the format increases. Therefore, in the former case, there is a drawback that transmission and reception must be performed several times in succession, and in the latter case, an inverted code is sent, which has the drawback of poor transmission efficiency. [Object of the Invention] The present invention has been made in view of the above, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a remote control signal system that eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks, allows error checking without sending an inverted code, and improves transmission efficiency. purpose. [Embodiment of the Invention] The remote control signal is formed by a cyclic code and is composed of an information word M(x) 20 and a check word N(x) 21 as shown in FIG. If we now express the information word M(x) as a polynomial, then (n
Next) M(x)=a o-1 X n-1 +a o-2 X n-2 +…+a 1 x+a 0
...(1) a o-1 ...a 1 is 0 or 1. When the generator polynomial characterizing the cyclic code is denoted by G(x), (r order) G(x)=g r-1 X r-1 +g r-2 X r-2 + ...+g 1 x+g 0 ...( 2) becomes. The following three operations are required to construct a cyclic code from equations (1) and (2). (b) Multiply the information word M(x) by X r . (b) Divide M(x)X r by the generator polynomial G(x),
Find the remainder R(x). The remainder R(x) becomes the CCRC code for error detection. (c) Add R(x) to M(x)X r . As a result of the above, the cyclic code is F(x)=M(x)X r +R(x)...(3) However, M(x)X r = G(x)・θ(x)+R(x), θ(x) is the quotient in (b) above. Generally, according to information theory, the cyclic code F(x) is F(x)=M(x)・G
...(4) and a generation matrix G uniquely defined by the number of bits of M(x). Once the generation matrix G is defined, the parity check matrix H that satisfies M(x)·G·H=0 (5) can also be uniquely defined. Therefore, a signal F(x) = M(x)・G is transmitted, and on the receiving side, the received data F(x) is multiplied by the parity check matrix H, and if the result satisfies equation (5), there is no error. It is judged that. As an example of the present invention shown in FIG. 1, if the information word M(x) is 16 bits and the total number of transmitted data is 26 bits, then the generator polynomial G(x)=X 10 +X 8 +X 7 +X 5 +X 4 +X 3 +1, and the generation matrix G is

Furthermore, when the generation matrix G is defined as above, the parity check matrix H is also defined as F(x)・H={M(x)・G}・H=0,

[Table] is defined as Note that the operation of F(x)·H is referred to as a syndrome operation in this specification. On the other hand, the check word N(x) shown in FIG.
is the CRCC code R(x) in the cyclic code system,
Since this is the result of the modulo 2 operation of the CRCC code R(x) and the custom code C(x) having the same number of bits, N(x)=R(x)+C(x)...(6). Therefore, F'(x)=M(x)・X r +R(x)+C(x) =M(x)G+C(x)...(A) F'(x) is the actual transmission data in the present invention becomes. Therefore, even if the parity check matrix H and syndrome calculation are performed on the receiving side, F'(x)・H=0 will not be obtained, but F′(x)・H={M(x)G+C(x)}・H=C (x)・H…(7) However, C(x) is a custom code unique to each component, and the parity check matrix H is also uniquely determined once the information word and the number of bits of the transmitted signal are determined. Therefore, the syndrome calculation result C(x)·H in equation (7) also becomes a unique value. However, the number of bits of the custom code C(x) must be the same as the number of bits of the CRCC code R(x). Table 1 shows an example of custom code assignment and the syndrome calculation value C(x)·H in the case where the information word (M(x)=X 15 +X 10 ) and the number of transmitted signal bits is 26.

[Table] Now, based on formula (A), F(x)=M(x)・X 10 +R(x) F′(x)=M(x)・X 10 +R(x)+C(x) For example, in the case of a video disc, F'(x)=X 25 +X 20 +X 9 +X 8 +X 7 +X 6 +X 5 +X 4 +X 3 +X+1 (8). That is, when the custom code C(x) is used as a video disc, F'(x) of equation (8) is transmitted as a transmission signal. The above F'(x) is transmitted, and a decoder that receives and decodes it is configured as shown in FIG. 2, for example. The received code F'(x) is modulated on a carrier and transmitted as shown in FIG. 6a. This is detected on the receiving side as shown in Figure 6b, and the detected reception code is
F'(x) is input to the remote control data acquisition section 22. On the other hand, 23 is a storage unit, and the storage unit 23 stores the parity check matrix H and the syndrome calculation values C(x)·H shown in Table 1. In this case, the parity check matrix H and the syndrome calculation value C(x)・H become different unique values if the information word and the number of bits of the transmitted signal change, and the custom code C(x) can be assigned arbitrarily. Therefore, the syndrome calculation value C(x)·H also becomes a unique value depending on the custom code C(x). The received code F′(x) is sent to the remote control data acquisition unit 22.
is captured, the captured received code F′(x)
is sent to the syndrome generation unit 24, and the calculation F′(x)·H shown in equation (7) is performed in the syndrome generation unit 24. Now, equation (8) F′(x)=X 25 +X 20 +X 9 +X 8 +X 7 +
In order to generate F'(x)・H from X 6 +X 5 +X 4 +X 3 +X+1 in the syndrome generator 24 , the value obtained by The first row of the test matrix H is "1000000000", and if the logic is "0", the multiplication value will also be "0". The operations for each bit are the same below. Therefore, we focus on the logic “1” bit of F′(x), check what bit it is, and the syndrome calculation value obtained as a result of F′(x)・H is F′(x). This can be easily obtained by performing an exclusive OR operation on the parity check matrix H of the logic "1" bits. The generation process of F'(x)·H in the case of F'(x) above is as follows.

As described above, according to the present invention, unlike the system shown in FIG. 3B, there is no need for inverted codes for each of the custom code and data code, and the number of bit configurations can be reduced, improving transmission efficiency. Furthermore, unlike the method shown in FIG. 3a, it is not necessary to determine that the signal is correct when the same signal is obtained several times in a row on the receiving side, thereby improving transmission efficiency. Another advantage is that the custom code and received data can be checked for errors at the same time.
