This impedance change is used to detect damage such as scratches or corrosion.

。Further, as a device combining an eddy current flaw detection device and an endoscope device, there is a technique disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 60-33313. This technology involves disposing the tip of an optical fiber for endoscopy (m < fiber scope) on the head that is inserted into the pipe, and an optical system for directing the optical axis of the optical fiber toward the pipe wall, and an optical system for eddy current testing. It is equipped with a coil.

02b, mirror 103, and optical fiber 104. The coil 102a is wound along the long axis inside the outer peripheral surface of the tip of the head portion 1ol. Behind the coil 102a, a mirror 103 tilted at 45 degrees with respect to the long axis of the head section 101 is provided at the center of the diameter of the head section 101. An optical fiber 104 is provided so that its optical axis is aligned with the center of this mirror 103 and its long axis direction is aligned with the long axis of the head section 101. At the same time, a coil 102b is provided inside the outer peripheral surface of the head section 101 and rearward along the long axis from a position equivalent to the tip position of the optical fiber 104 on the long axis. The coils 102a and 102b have different winding directions and generate magnetic fluxes in different directions, thereby eliminating noise caused by vibrations and the like. With this configuration, defective parts are detected by changes in the impedance of the coils. Impedance detection is achieved by generating an alternating magnetic field by passing a current through the coils 102a and 102b, and applying the alternating magnetic field to the object (dielectric material). Eddy currents are generated, and a balance is maintained between these eddy currents and the alternating magnetic field. However, if there is a defective part in the object, the value of the eddy current changes, and a back electromotive force is added to the alternating magnetic field, causing a change in the value of the current flowing through the coil. That is, the coil impedance changes and the balance is lost. The defective part was detected by detecting the impedance change at this time using a Whiston bridge circuit or the like. There was also a similar configuration in which the mirror 103 was provided so as to be rotatable 360 degrees along the outer circumference with the long axis direction as the rotation center.

Although it is possible to find out where in the long axis direction the defective part that has occurred inside the tube is located, it is not possible to know where on the inner periphery the defective part is located. ff, since the bobbin type coils 102a and 102b are coils wound along the outer circumference of the head 101, a uniform alternating magnetic field is generated everywhere on the outer circumference of the head 101.

It was not possible to determine whether it was alive. Therefore, there is a spatula F″10 in the pipe.
1, the mirror must be rotated 360 degrees at the location where the impedance change occurs to find out where the defective part is, which is troublesome.

A coil is installed with the normal line as the winding axis, and in order to detect defects, the tip of the endoscope rotates with the long axis as the rotation axis, so it can cover the entire 360-degree inner circumference of the tube into which it is inserted. Can be detected.

The illumination light irradiated onto the ξ mirror surface 44 has its optical axis tilted by 45 degrees and illuminates the inner peripheral portion of W40 on the side portion of the endoscope. The reflected light from the inner circumferential surface of the tube 40 is inclined by 45 degrees by the mirror surface 44 and travels toward the long axis direction. The solid-state image sensor 30 then passes through the viewing angle conversion lens system 38 and the objective lens system 25.
The image is formed on the imaging plane. The formed optical image is converted into an electrical signal and output to a video signal processing circuit (not shown) of the CCU 4 via the signal line 32. The video signal processing circuit generates a video signal from the input electrical signal, and the video signal is converted to VT.
It is output to R5 and the monitor 6, and an image of the inner peripheral surface of the tube 40 is displayed on the screen of the monitor 6.

Therefore, the rotational force is transmitted to the stay 46 and the eddy current flaw detection probe 20 which are joined to the ring-shaped member 41, and rotate together with the ring-shaped member 41. Due to this rotation, the probe-shaped coil 45 provided on the bottom surface of the eddy current flaw detection probe 20 also rotates around the tube 40 in the same manner as the ring-shaped member 41.
rotates 360° along the inner peripheral surface of the Simultaneously with this rotation, a current is applied to the probe-shaped coil 45. This current generates an alternating magnetic field around the coil, and this alternating magnetic field generates an electromotive force on the inner peripheral surface of the tube 40 facing the probe-shaped coil 45, causing an eddy current to flow. In this way, the eddy current flaw detection probe 20 of the endoscope is moved inside the tube 40 without rotating, and the inner peripheral surface of the tube 40 is thoroughly searched. Here tube 40
If there is a defect on the inner peripheral surface of the coil, the eddy current changes, causing electromagnetic induction and causing a change in the value of the current flowing through the coil.

The eddy current flaw detector 7 that receives this impedance change signal outputs an OFF signal force output to the VTR 5 when there is no change in impedance, and outputs an ON signal to the VTR 5 when a change occurs in impedance. Upon receiving the ON signal, the VTR 5 starts recording operation. When the probe-shaped coil 45 detects a defective part in this way, recording is started. However, at this point, the image displayed on the monitor 6 and VTR 5 is at a position 180" opposite to the position of the defect on the inner circumferential surface of the tube 40. Here, the rotation of the ultrasonic motor that rotates the eddy current flaw detection probe 20 may be controlled by determining the pulse wave required for one rotation and controlling the output of the pulse wave, or by rotating the eddy current probe 20 at a constant speed and controlling its angular velocity.
