Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve an excision of an overy handily and quickly without celiotomy while minimizing damage to a cow body by a method wherein an overy held with a hand in a rectum through an intestinal wall is guided to an overy storage section of an overy excising device and cut to store the overy alone into the overy storage section. CONSTITUTION:An overy excising device A inserted into a vagina through an intestinal wall with a hand in a rectum is guided. A transfixing part 2A is stuck into a vagina wall in the periphery of an external womb mouse of a cow to be handled to insert a tip of the overy excising device A, namely, the transfixing part 2A and the overy storage section 2B into the abdominal vagina. An overy held with the hand in the rectum through the intestinal wall is guided into the overy storage section 2B of the overy excising device and when an overy storage space 2a is filled fully, a handle 2D for operating of an internal tube 2 is turned to close both openings 1B and 2b so that an resecting section 5 is formed with the rims 1B' and 2b' to cut off a tissue outside the overy tying the overy to the womb. Then, the overy alone is stored into the overy storage section 2D. By repeating the same operation procedure, another overy is resected to be stored.

One of the ways to deal with this problem is to use artificial insemination and large-scale breeding methods to produce and raise high-quality beef cattle in large quantities at a low price. ■ A method of increasing cow production by in vitro fertilization using the follicular eggs contained in the cow, or ■ A method of increasing cow production by transplanting in vitro fertilized eggs from the ovaries collected from layer-killed cows, and ■ A method of multi-head fattening. Large-scale breeding methods for cows,■ In addition, methods for removing ovaries from living bodies include (surgical) methods for removing ovaries through laparotomy, methods for removing ovaries from the abdominal cavity through the vaginal wall using a finger knife, and A method of removing the ovaries using a commercially available ovarian amputation device has been proposed.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in each of the above-mentioned conventional methods ■ to ■, ■ hormone treatment is performed on cows scheduled for stratification to promote the superovulation effect, thereby obtaining several times as many follicular eggs. Even if it is possible, it is impossible to serve the living body as meat after slaughter, and it is uneconomical. Furthermore, it has been difficult to clarify the lineage of removed ovaries due to the high pressure of slaughterhouses and the need to maintain the activity of collected ovaries.

■ Ovarian removal through open surgery is cost-effective, time-consuming, accident-prone, and
There are problems in terms of nursing care and it is not practical. In addition, the method of removing the ovary from the abdominal cavity through the vaginal wall using a finger knife causes peritonitis and bleeding accidents due to contamination of the incision, and is not applicable to nulliparous or vaginally stenotic cows. Even when the method using a strangler was used, there were many bleeding accidents, and in addition, the problem of the ovary remaining in the abdominal cavity was pointed out.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and has the following objects: (a) ovaries can be removed from a living body easily and quickly without laparotomy, and without causing damage to the living body; (b) By quarantining farmed cattle with a clear pedigree,
By pre-selecting cows that are free from infectious diseases and then removing their ovaries, we can ensure that offspring with superior pedigree and are unaffected by disease (C). By making it possible to remove the ovaries, cows are prevented from coming into heat, and as a result, the human burden is reduced and multiple cows are raised. It is something to do.

(Effects) The ovary removal method and the oophorectomy device of the present invention do not cause any hindrance to the growth (development) of the living body;・It can be carried out easily and quickly without requiring a mentally burdensome open surgery, and with minimal damage to the living body. 2) By quarantining farmed cattle with a clear pedigree, it can be ensured that they are free from infectious diseases. By pre-selecting cows and then removing their ovaries, we can ensure that we have descendants with excellent bloodlines and are free from diseases. 3) Ovaries collected from quarantined cows are free from specific diseases. Since it is guaranteed that the cows will be fertilized in vitro, there is no problem in transferring them for in vitro fertilization.4) In addition, cows whose ovaries have been removed are fattened appropriately and then slaughtered, and sold to consumers as meat (products). 5) Furthermore, by making it possible to safely remove the ovaries from the living body, it suppresses estrus in cows, and as a result, reduces the human burden. 6) From the effects of the present invention described in 1) to 5) above, the intended objective was to reduce beef cattle production costs (cost reduction);
It can also be expected to have sufficient economic effects for both livestock (producers) and consumers.
