第１図〜第４図は請求項１記載の考案のフアク
シミリ装置の一実施例を示す図であり、第１図は
その記録系の構成図、第２図はその制御系のブロ
ツク図、第３図ａはその記録紙の搬送・切換処理
の流れ図、第３図ｂは従来の記録紙の搬送・切換
処理の流れ図、第４図はその他の実施例の制御系
のブロツク図である。第５，６図は請求項２記載
のフアクシミリ装置の一実施例を示す図であり、
第５図はその制御系のブロツク図、第６図はその
記録紙の初期化処理をプログラムを示すフローチ
ヤートである。第７図は従来のフアクシミリ装置
における記録紙の状態を示す図である。 １……フアクシミリ装置、２，３……記録紙、
４，８……フイードローラ、５，９……プレツシ
ヤローラ、６……プラテンローラ、１１……カツ
ター、２４……ＮＣＵ（サイズ指定検出手段）、
２５……受信サイズカウンタ（計数手段）、３３
……タイマ（計時手段）。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) ２個のそれぞれサイズの異なるロール状の
    記録紙と、該記録紙の一方が択一的に巻回され回
    転して該記録紙を搬送するプラテンローラと、プ
    ラテンローラに当接し発熱して記録紙に記録する
    サーマルヘツドと、回転駆動され前記記録紙のう
    ち一方の記録紙をプラテンローラに送給する第１
    フイードローラと、回転駆動され前記記録紙のう
    ち他方の記録紙をプラテンローラに送給する第２
    フイードローラと、を備え、記録紙のセツト時、
    ２個の記録紙の一方の先端を前記プラテンローラ
    上にセツトし、他方の記録紙の先端を前記第１フ
    イードローラあるいは第２フイードローラと該プ
    ラテンローラの間の所定位置にセツトするフアク
    シミリ装置において、相手先フアクシミリ端末か
    らの受信時、所定のフアクシミリ制御信号に付加
    される記録紙のサイズ指定情報を検出するサイズ
    指定検出手段と、該サイズ指定検出手段の検出回
    数をサイズ別に計数する計数手段と、を設け、該
    計数手段の計数結果に基づいてサイズ指定の回数
    が多い方の前記ロール状の記録紙の先端を優先的
    に前記プラテンローラ上にセツトするようにした
    ことを特徴とするフアクシミリ装置。 (2) ２個のロール状の記録紙と、該記録紙の一
    方が択一的に巻回され回転して該記録紙を搬送す
    るプラテンローラと、プラテンローラに当接し発
    熱して記録紙に記録するサーマルヘツドと、プラ
    テンローラから送り出された記録紙を切断するカ
    ツターと、回転駆動され前記記録紙のうち一方の
    記録紙をプラテンローラに送給する第１フイード
    ローラと、回転駆動され前記記録紙のうち他方の
    記録紙をプラテンローラに送給する第２フイード
    ローラと、を備え、記録紙が交換されてセツトさ
    れたとき、記録紙がセツトされた方のフイードロ
    ーラおよびプラテンローラを正転させて該セツト
    された記録紙の先端をカツターまで送給して切断
    した後、プラテンローラと該フイードローラの間
    の所定位置まで巻き戻す記録紙の初期化処理を行
    つて記録紙を受信待機状態にするフアクシミリ装
    置において、前記２個のロール状記録紙の前期受
    信待機時間を該記録紙毎に計時する計時手段を設
    け、該受信待機時間が所定時間経過したとき、該
    所定時間内に使用されなかつた記録紙の前記初期
    化処理を行うようにしたことを特徴とするフアク
    シミリ装置。
