Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a pipe part from being clogged by inserting a resilient rubber plug having an outer configuration corresponding to the inner configuration of the pipe part into a pipe part molding place in a molding mold, and then casting slurry into the molding mold. CONSTITUTION:Into a pipe part molding place 22 in a molding mold 2, a resilient rubber plug 1 is inserted. Thereby, between the resilient rubber plug 1 and a mold wall 220, a clearance 32 is defined which is equal to the wall thickness of a body layer of a pipe part 42 to be obtained, and therefore, it is held closely with the peripheral surface of a cylindrical part 12 of the resilient rubber plug 1 in a gypsum mold inner wall part at the pipe end innermost side of stepped parts 221, 222. In the next place, body slurry is cast into the molding mold 2 and, after the body layer adheres thereto, the slurry is discharged therefrom and the resilient rubber plug 1 is removed in a semi-dehydrated state wherein the surface moisture in the body is evaporated sufficiently. The pipe forming part 42 is small in its inner diameter and curved in its shape; however, since the resilient rubber plug 1 exists therein, it never causes any blocks due to the slurry. And, as the resilient rubber plug 1 is comprised of silicone rubber, the resilient rubber plug 1 has no water absorption itself and thus it is excellent in draining and water resistance.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention is applicable to ceramics having a spout such as pots, pots, oil jugs, etc., or other ceramics in which the body and the pipe are integrated. This invention relates to a method for integrally casting and molding ceramics, and a mold thereof.

Conventionally, for ceramics having pipe parts such as spouts, a method is known in which ceramic base slurry is cast into a mold and integrally molded (for example, Utility Model Publication No. 58-28815, Japanese Patent Publication No. 58-49246). ).

In order to cast a ceramic green body 9 using the mold 8, as shown in FIG. 9, a slurry of a ceramic green body is first poured into the assembled mold 8. After a certain period of time, the moisture in the slurry is absorbed by the plaster mold, forming a base layer with a certain thickness. Next, the remaining slurry that formed the base layer is drained from the inside of the mold 8. Then, a ceramic hydrogen-containing green body formed from the base layer formed in the mold 8 (usually has a moisture content of 13% on a wet basis).
After being semi-dehydrated to a moisture content of about 1 to 10% by weight) and released from the mold (usually at a moisture content of about 1 to 10% by weight), it is dried and shrunk.

Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 10a and 10b, we had no choice but to cast the body part 91 and the pipe part 92 separately,
In addition, it is necessary to carry out a method of casting with great care so as not to block them, and joining the body part 91 and tube part 92 of the separate body molded body at the interface 93 with the same material (base slurry for ceramics). I don't get it. As a result, a green molded body 9 as shown in FIG. 10c is obtained.

First, the elastic rubber stopper is inserted into the tube forming portion of the mold. Thereby, it is possible to maintain a clearance between the elastic rubber stopper and the mold wall corresponding to the wall thickness of the pipe portion to be obtained. Moreover, the tube end of the front part forming part is simultaneously molded with the elastic rubber stopper. Therefore, by casting slurry of a ceramic base into a mold and removing the slurry, a base molded body having a body and a tube with a constant wall thickness is obtained. after that,
After semi-dehydration to a moisture content of 13 to 20%, preferably 15 to 18%, the elastic rubber stopper is removed from the base molded body.
