Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A passenger ticket collecting slit 13 and a passenger ticket discharging slit 14 are connected to each other via a transfer device 20 which transfers the passenger ticket. An alignment part A, a magnetic processing part B, a print processing part C, and a discharging part D are provided in the ticket transferring direction. The part B includes a ticket surface information reading part B1, a ticket surface information writing part B2, and a ticket surface information checking part B3 arrayed in series. Then the part B reads an entraining station code out of a passenger ticket as a departure/arrival station code. If no departure/arrival station code is recorded on the ticket, a starting station code is regarded as an entraining station code and collected as the departure/arrival station data.
