搬送経路の適所に配置したダミーバ巻上用フツク
に係合させ、ダミーバのヘツド部と鋳片との連結
を解除し、フツクの上昇によりダミーバを操業床
まで巻上げるものである。そしてフツクに対しダ
ミーバテール部のピンが正しく係合するようにフ
ツクより若干上流側にダミーバガイドが設けられ
ている。従来のダミーバガイドは、その駆動機構
部と一体連結されているため、ダミーバの蛇行が
予想以上に大きくて、上記ダミーバガイドに衝突
した場合には、上記駆動機構部まで破損させてし
まい、被害が大きいという欠点がある。また従来
では、ダミーバガイドの鋳片搬送経路を構成する
ロールのロール天の下方からその上方へ突出させ
るのに、そのダミーバガイドを揺動させる構成を
とつているため、駆動機構部の構造が複雑とな
り、コストアツプにつながるという欠点がある。

イド枠9に昇降自在に支持されると共に上記カム
7A上に載置されかつカム7Aの回転によりロー
ル天イの下方からその上方へ突出させられる一対
のガイド本体7Bとから構成されている。10は
一端がカム7Aにピン連結されると共に他端の長
穴がガイド本体7Bのピンに嵌合する連結杆であ
つて、ガイド本体7Bがカム7Aと確実に連動す
るように念のため設けたものである。11は支軸
8の一端に固着されたピニオン、12は該ピニオ
ン11に噛合するラツクであつて、支持枠13に
摺動自在に支持されている。14はラツク12を
摺動させるモータシリンダ、15は固定枠16に
水平移動自在に支持された連動杆、17は該連動
杆15の一端にボルト止めされた連動金具であつ
て、それに形成した長穴18は前記水平軸5に固
着されたアーム19の先端のピン20に嵌合して
いる。21は連動杆15の他端をピニオン11の
外周部適所に連結するクランク機構である。22
は水平軸5の一端に固着された扇形フレームであ
つて、2つのストライカ23,24を固定してあ
る。25はストライカ23に対向して設けられた
フツク係合検知用リミツトスイツチ、26はスト
ライカ24に対向して設けられた異常検知用リミ
ツトスイツチである。

カム7Aの突部がガイド本体7Bの上部をロール
天イの上方まで押上げている。次に鋳造を開始し
てダミーバ3がモールドから引張られ、それによ
つて鋳片を引抜き、ロール1に案内されてダミー
バ3が矢印Aへ搬送され、そのテール部のピン3
Aが第4図に示す位置に待機するフツク2に係合
し、テール部が検知ローラ6に当たつて、この検
知ローラ6がα1移動させられると、検知レバー4
の回動によりストライカ23がリミツトスイツチ
25の検知腕に当たり、フツク引上げ信号が発せ
られる。この信号によりフツク2が上昇させら
れ、該フツク2がピン3Aに係合し、ダミーバ3
が巻上げられる。ここで方が一、ピン3Aにフツ
ク2が係合しなかつた場合には、テール部が検知
ローラ6をさらに押すので、その検知ローラ6が
α2移動させられると、ストライカ24がリミツト
スイツチ26の検知腕に当たり、異常信号が発せ
られる。したがつて不測の事故がおこることはな
い。次にダミーバ3の巻上げがはじまつたならば
(または巻上げの完了後)、モータシリンダ14を
作動させ、ラツク12を矢印B方向へ摺動させ
る。これによつてピニオン11が矢印C方向へ回
転させられ、支軸8を介してカム7Aも同方向へ
回転させられてそのカム7Aの突部がガイド本体
7Bから外れ、そのガイド本体7Bが第6図実線
に示すごとくロール天イより下方へ降下する。し
たがつて鋳片がガイド本体7Bに衝突するおそれ
はない。また同時にクランク機構21、連動杆1
5、連動金具17、ピン20および水平軸5を介
して検知レバー4が矢印D方向へ回動させられ、
検知ローラ6がロール天イよりも下方へもたらさ
れる。したがつて鋳片が検知ローラ6および検知
レバー4に衝突するおそれはない。次にダミーバ
3の蛇行が大きくて、ガイド本体7Bに衝突した
としても、そのガイド本体7Bはカム7A上に載
置されているだけであるから、支軸8にはその衝
撃力が伝達されず、ラツク12、ピニオン11お
よびモータシリンダ14などを破損させることは

に比べて構造が簡単となり、コストダウンを図る
ことができる。
