(産業上の利用分野)
この発明は、種々な電気的製品の部品として使
用される水晶振動子に関する。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a crystal resonator used as a component of various electrical products.
(従来の技術、発明が解決しようとする問題点)
従来のこの種の水晶振動子は、第2図に示すよ
うにガラス層21の下方に突出部22が形成され
ている。そして、この突出部22を内方向に歪ま
せるようにしてキヤツプ23が、その突出部22
の外周囲に圧着している。ところでこの突出部2
2はキヤツプ23を電気的或いは機械的手段によ
つて圧着した際、ガラス層21が圧壊しないよう
にガラス層21の下方に形成されているものであ
る。しかし、そのような突出部22の存在は、そ
の突出部22の高さ分、水晶振動子全体の高さが
長尺になるという欠点がある。そこで、この発明
は従来の水晶振動子よりも短尺の高さで小型化を
図ることができる水晶振動子を目的として提案す

(発明の構成)
前記目的を達成する為に、この発明に係る水晶
振動子は、金属板で形成されたベース3の上から
キヤツプ4を嵌合して成る水晶振動子において、
キヤツプ4の下端に鍔8を形成していることと、
同じくベース3の外周にキヤツプ4の鍔8と相応
する鍔部1が、該鍔部1の内側にはキヤツプ4の
下方内周面にその外周面が圧着密封される断面略
逆U字状をした環状の突堤部2が、ベース3の中
央には電子部品を支持するガラス層5が形成され

(発明の効果)
以上のように構成された、この発明に係る水晶
振動子は、ベース3に環状に形成された断面略逆
U字状の突堤部2の外周面がキヤツプ4の下方内
周面によつて圧着密封され、その際に生じる圧力
は突堤部2が内周方向に歪むことによつて全て吸
収してしまう。ベース3の中央に形成された枠部
7は何の影響も受けず、従つて、枠部7内に形成
されたガラス層5が前記嵌合の際の圧力によつて
圧壊することはない。そして、この発明に係る水
晶振動子は、そのようにガラス層5を圧壊するこ
となくキヤツプ4をベース3に嵌合することがで
きるに拘らず、ガラス層5の下方には従来の水晶
振動子のような突出部22は存在しないので、そ
の分、高さを短尺にすることができ水晶振動子全
体の小型化を図ることができると云う特有な効果

プ4の下端に鍔8を形成していることと、同じく
ベース3の外周にキヤツプ4の鍔8と相応する鍔
部1が、該鍔部1の内側にはキヤツプ4の下方内
周面にその外周面が圧着密封される断面略逆U字
状をした環状の突堤部2が、ベース3の中央には
電子部品を支持するガラス層5が形成されている
