However, such conventional noise countermeasures require a separate capacitor, which has the drawback of increasing the size and cost of the drive unit due to the installation space.

The overall schematic configuration of the electric mirror device will be described with reference to the drawings. The device indicated by the reference numeral 1 in the figure is a so-called door mirror attached to the side surface of an automobile door. The device 1 consists of a base member 2 that is attached and fixed to the side surface of a door, and a mirror body 3 that is separate from the base member 2 and is elastically supported and can be tilted back and forth. This mirror body 3 has a housing 4 formed in the shape of a case with a front opening on its outer side, and a drive unit 6 is housed in a central opening 5a of a support plate 5 fixed inside the housing 4. is fixed to the support plate 5 with screws 7. Further, one ends of the coil springs 8a, 8b are hooked to the upper and lower parts 5b, 5c of the support plate 5,
The other ends of the springs 8a, 8b are hooked to both ends of the connecting plate 9. The center of the connecting plate 9 is further swingably connected to the base member 2 via a link member 10, so that the mirror body 3 is always urged against the base member 2 by the tension of the springs 8a and 8b. By being in pressure contact with the mirror body 3, the mirror body 3 can be tilted forward or backward when an external force exceeding a specified value is applied to the mirror body 3.

On the other hand, the operating rod 14 is sequentially connected inside the storage case 11 to a gear mechanism 16 consisting of a motion direction conversion gear, a reduction gear, etc., and further to a motor 17, and the operating rod 15 is also connected to a similar gear mechanism 18 and a motor 19. Connect sequentially to As a result, the motor 17,1
By forward and reverse rotation of the mirror 9, the operating rods 14 and 15 are moved in and out of the case 11 via the gear mechanisms 16 and 18, thereby making it possible to change the viewing direction angle of the mirror portion 13.

This storage case 11 consists of a combination of a front side case half 30 shown in FIG. 4 and a back side case half 50 shown in FIG. The front case half 30 consists of a concave storage section 31 and a bank-like abutment section 32 around the concave storage section 31. On the other hand, the rear side case half 50 similarly consists of a concave storage section 51 and an abutment section 52 provided around the concave storage section 51 in the shape of a bank. Furthermore, each of the case halves 30 and 50 is made of a conductive member. A conductive member can be integrally molded with a conductive resin material, for example, or can be integrally molded with an ordinary insulating synthetic resin and subjected to conductive plating treatment on the entire surface, or can be made of an insulating synthetic resin. It may be integrally molded and covered with a conductive rubber (sheet) etc. which also serves as a seal.

Storage case 11 → screws 7... → support plate 5 → coil springs 8a, 8b → connection plate 9 → link member 10 → base member 2 → car body The storage case 11 and the car body become electrically connected and can be simply assembled. The storage case 11 is grounded to the vehicle body. Alternatively, the storage case 11 may be directly connected to the vehicle body through a ground wire. In this case, the negative electrode side wiring connected to the motor can be used.

is in a grounded state, that is, in the vehicle body, the negative electrode of the battery is normally grounded, so the potential is zero, and the entire storage case 11 has a shielding function. In particular, since the storage case 11 is formed in a sealed state as described above, its shielding function is perfect, and high frequencies caused by sparks generated inside the storage case 11 will not be transmitted to the outside, causing noise to be mixed into radio receivers, etc. Negative effects can be effectively removed.
