It is encapsulated in a flexible synthetic resin encapsulant, allowing a light-emitting display of any length and shape to be obtained, and requires less man-hours for installation when used for so-called decorative lights for displays, neon signs, etc. It had the advantages of low power consumption, long life, and low total cost.

Because the lead wires are arranged in a direction and encapsulated through the lead wires, if the flexible synthetic resin envelope is bent in a state where the curvature of the arranged lead wires differs, the lead wires may break. In addition to making it easier, there was a problem in that the bending point of the flexible synthetic resin envelope would be distorted, shortening the life of the envelope, and there was room for improvement in this respect.

At the same time, each of these linear conductors is connected to two leads led out from the light emitting element provided on the linear insulating spacer side, and the entire conductor is connected to the light emitting element. Since the light-emitting surface side of the light-emitting device is encapsulated in a flexible synthetic resin envelope made of a translucent material, its structural features provide the following unique functions and effects. Moreover, since the linear conductor serving as the current-carrying member is bent in an even manner during bending or twisting, distortion is less likely to occur in the envelope itself.

It is difficult for the pitch between the conductors to change, and there is less risk of the wire conductors that are current-carrying members coming into contact with each other and causing unnecessary contact accidents. With this structure, the light emitting element can be directly attached without the need for peeling off the insulating layer when attaching the light emitting element, and manufacturing is also facilitated.

This is very convenient because it can be set arbitrarily.

The semiconductor chip 4' is fixed to one of the three conductors 21 to 23, that is, to the upper surface of 23 using a silver space 8 or the like. , connected to other conductors 21 and 22 via the bonding wire 6 from above,
Furthermore, the entire structure is enclosed within a sealing film 7 made of a translucent thermosetting resin. 5 is an envelope formed of flexible synthetic resin. Although the arrangement of the semiconductor chips 4' is not limited to that shown in the figure, the semiconductor chips 4' and the light emitting part including the bonding wires 6 are sealed and protected in the sealing film 7 as described above. This effectively prevents damage to the light-emitting portion when the light-emitting display body A is bent or twisted.
