BACKGROUND ART Steamers, ovens, microwave ovens, and the like have traditionally been used to make steamed bread, cakes, etc., but they have the disadvantage of requiring a long time to make cakes, etc. using these devices. On the other hand, in recent years, microwave ovens have become widely used for home use instead of ovens and oven ranges due to their convenience and high safety, and have become an indispensable household cooking appliance. However, when making cakes etc. using a microwave oven, the heating method is different from ovens etc. In other words, microwave ovens use a heating method that uses microwaves, so the microwaves are concentrated in the corner of the rectangular container. There is a problem that this part of the cake may become too dry or burnt. In addition, it is difficult to heat uniformly, and there are differences in the heating conditions at the center, corners, bottom, etc., and it is difficult to uniformly inflate.

Therefore, the present invention provides a container that prevents microwaves from concentrating on the corners and allows uniform heating when cooking various types of food using a microwave oven, for example, when cooking puffed foods such as steamed bread and cakes. The purpose is to

Characteristic Microwave Cooking Container In the container of the present invention, the cross-sectional shape refers to the cross-sectional shape when the container is cut horizontally when placed in a normal state, and this shape is pentagonal to dodecagonal, Preferably, it needs to be octagonal to decagonal. In other words, if the polygon is less than a pentagon, the microwaves will be concentrated at the corners, and the moisture in the cake or the like will evaporate too much in these areas, resulting in dryness. On the other hand, making the container more polygonal than dodecagonal makes it difficult to shape the container. In the present invention, the above-mentioned polygon is particularly preferably a regular polygonal container. This is because it can be easily cut into equal intervals after making steamed bread, cakes, etc.

If the container of the present invention is a container with a lid that has an opening at the top and the opening is formed integrally with the side of the container, steamed bread, cakes, etc. will be less likely to blow out from the container during cooking. Benefits can be obtained. Furthermore, in order to enhance the heating effect at the bottom of the container, it is desirable to provide the bottom of the container with means for holding the entire container 2 to 15 mm above. This is because the whole is heated more uniformly.

In this case, it is more preferable to use a plastic film having a critical surface tension of 33 dynes/cm 2 or less, since this can effectively prevent the steamed bread etc. from adhering to the inner wall of the container.
Further, the thickness of the paper constituting the container can be arbitrary, but it is generally economical to have a basis weight of 210 to 370 g/m 2 .

FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a container 1 according to the present invention. The container 1 has a regular octagonal cross section along the line A-A (not shown), and is made of paper laminated with polyethylene on the inner surface. FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal cross-sectional view of a container 2 having a regular octagonal cross section like the container shown in FIG. is provided integrally with the container. The container 2 is made of laminated paper similar to the container shown in FIG.

According to the present invention, a container is provided that can prevent microwaves from concentrating on the corners when making steamed bread or cakes using a microwave oven.
Steamed bread and the like made using this container have the advantage that the corners will not become too dry.
Further, by making the cross-sectional form of the container a regular polygon, there is an advantage that steamed bread and the like can be equally cut.
