With conventional biological stimulators, especially cardiac stimulators, when testing the cardiac conduction system, it is rare to record immediately after starting stimulation, but rather to observe the response after applying several prestimulations. (hereinafter referred to as "effective stimulation") is often added to record.
These stimulation methods can be roughly divided into the following four types.

1 高頻度刺激……一定時間患者の心拍数より速
い間隔で刺激パルスを加え、突然停止する。
1 High-frequency stimulation: Stimulation pulses are applied at intervals faster than the patient's heart rate for a certain period of time, and then suddenly stopped.

2. Early stimulation: A certain number of stimulation pulses are applied at approximately the same intervals as the patient's heart rate, and then 1 to 4 stimulation pulses (pulses) are applied at intervals faster than the patient's heart rate.

4 Sequential stimulation of atria and ventricles: A fixed number of asynchronous stimulation pulses are applied sequentially from the atria to the ventricles.

In addition to these, stimulation methods with various modifications are used, such as the number and interval of the stimulation pulses, the number of repetitions, other changes in the atrium and ventricle, and extension of the stimulation pulse when a spontaneous heartbeat appears. Even if we narrow it down to those that are considered clinically useful, there are as many as 20 types.

In the case of method 1), the patient's ventricular spontaneous heart rate is 70 beats/
minute, a stimulation pulse of 80 beats/min is given at first, and then the speed is increased step by step by 10 beats/min to 160 beats/min, during which a total of 8 recordings must be made for each increase of 10 beats/min. There is. Also, for the atrium, 80 beats/
Since the rate is 220 beats/minute, a total of 14 recordings are required.

In method 2), the stimulation pulse interval is set using a value obtained by converting the clinical beat rate into a time interval ms, as shown in the following equation.

Interval = 1000/heart rate/minute x 60 [ms] Therefore, in the case of a patient with 70 beats/minute, the set interval is 857ms, truncating the last digit to 850ms, which becomes the initial value. Normally, tests are performed by increasing the stimulation pulse interval in 10ms increments, so if we were to continue testing until the stimulation pulse interval was 200 to 150ms, it would be necessary to record 65 to 70 times every 10ms. But in reality, 850-400ms

Even in non-severely ill patients, both the atrium and ventricle are tested in one test, so the number of recordings is 8 + 14 = 22 times using method 1).
A total of 30 + 30 = 60 times using method 2), 10-15 times using methods 3) and 4), and 10 times with re-examination using methods 1) and 2), totaling about 102-107 times. .

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a control section connected to a stimulation output section, a biological signal input section, and a recording device, and allows this control section to record changes over time (beat rate or elapsed time) of the stimulation signal. A control signal is sent to the recorder at a predetermined time point (for example, n beats or n seconds before the effective stimulation) to automatically start recording the biological signal.

In FIG. 1, 1 is a biological stimulation device, 2 is a control section incorporated therein, 3 is a biological amplifier, and 4 is a biological signal recorder. The biological stimulator 1 applies a stimulation output (pulse) to the patient, and also takes in biological signals to the control unit 2 via the biological amplifier 3. The control unit 2 monitors the stimulation pulse while looking at the biological signals, and sends a control signal to the recorder 4 at a predetermined time to control its operation. Therefore, the recorder 4 used is one in which the start and stop of recording can be controlled by control signals.

As shown in FIG. 2, the biological stimulation device 1 includes a control section 2, a stimulation output section 5, and a biological signal input section (amplifier) 6. In this embodiment, the control unit 2 includes a microprocessor (CPU) 7, a ROM 8,
RAM9, timer 10, interface 1
1, 12 and a bus line 13. A keyboard 14 for manual operation is provided if necessary.
Many types of stimulation patterns are recorded in ROM8,
The CPU 7 reads a stimulation pattern selected by a selection means (not shown) from the ROM 8, determines its set value, and temporarily stores it in the RAM 9, and also sends a control signal to the stimulation output section 5 to generate stimulation pulses. The CPU 7 grasps the progress state of the stimulation,
As described below, a control signal is automatically sent to the recorder 4 at a predetermined time immediately before the effective stimulation to start recording.

In this example, a 1-beat early stimulation pulse (effective stimulation) is given after a 9-beat pre-stimulation pulse, and the rest period is entered, and recording is started n (3 in the figure) beats before the effective stimulation pulse. ing. Print data related to stimulation pulses is transmitted to the recorder 4 before the start of recording, and printing is performed during recording. During the stimulation period, the patient's heartbeat is approximately synchronized with the stimulation pulses, but during biosignal input, the patient's own (heartbeat) waves often appear at positions between the stimulation pulses. In such a case, since each stimulation pulse is delayed one after another after the appearance of the self-wave as shown by the broken line arrow, it is possible to eliminate unnecessary recording by delaying the start of recording accordingly.

Figure 4 is a time chart when applying high-frequency stimulation to either the atrium or ventricle, where A is the stimulation pulse, B is the recording period, C is the print data transmission period, and D

In FIG. 5, A 1 is an atrial stimulation pulse, A 2 is a ventricular stimulation pulse, B is a recording period, C is a print data transmission period, and D is a stimulation period. In Figure 6, A 1 is an atrial stimulation pulse, A 2 is a ventricular stimulation pulse,
B indicates a recording period, C indicates a print data transmission period, and D indicates a stimulation period. In this case, the A1 pulse and A2 pulse are asynchronous, and the recording period is arbitrarily controlled manually.
Further, the print data transmission period C starts at the same time as the recording period B.

When stimulation has started, the number and time of stimulation pulses are measured to determine the stimulation method and to recognize its progress. (At this time, the self-heartbeat is always determined, and when the self-wave is input from the biological amplifier 3 shown in Fig. 1, the CPU 7 is interrupted, the stimulation is temporarily suspended, and the stimulation pulse is given with a delay according to the self-wave appearance position. Therefore, time can be recognized by counting the number of stimulation pulses.) Ask the recorder 4 whether it is OK to start printing. If no, go back to the step; if yes, go to the next step.
