(Industrial Application Field) This invention relates to a transfer material particularly useful for in-mold molding. (Prior art) As a transfer material for in-mold molding to transfer a metal thin film to the surface of a molded object at the same time as in-mold molding of plastic, conventionally, a mold release layer, an Al vapor deposited layer, It is known that adhesive layers are sequentially laminated. (Problem to be solved by the invention) Conventional transfer materials for in-mold molding use an Al vapor-deposited layer as a thin metal film.
Since the deposited layer does not stretch, it is stretched during in-mold molding, resulting in cracks, resulting in a whitening phenomenon in appearance and a very low metallic luster. This invention eliminates the above drawbacks and does not reduce the metallic luster even if the thin metal film is stretched during in-mold molding.
The present invention provides a transfer material for in-mold molding that retains metallic luster. (Means for solving the problem) This invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. On one side of a base material 10 such as a plastic film, a release layer 20, a stretchable and metallic luster Sn thin film 30, and an adhesive This is a transfer material for in-mold molding that retains metallic luster and is characterized by being formed by sequentially laminating layers 40. This invention is characterized by sequentially laminating a base material 10, a release layer 20, a stretchable and metallic luster Sn thin film 30, and an adhesive layer 40, and specifically, they are sequentially laminated directly. For example, the release layer 20 and a stretchable and metallic luster layer may be laminated together.
A suitably colored or uncolored transparent or translucent protective layer 50 may be provided between the Sn thin film 30, and such a protective layer 50 is also included in this invention. Furthermore, the stretchable and metallic luster Sn thin film 30 and the transparent or translucent protective layer 50 may not necessarily be provided on the entire surface but may be provided partially, and such materials are also included in this invention. Further, the colored transparent or semitransparent protective layer may be entirely or partially, and may be of one color or multiple colors, and both are included in this invention. The greatest feature of this invention is that in a transfer material for in-mold molding that has a metal thin film, a stretchable and metallic luster Sn thin film is used as the metal thin film. Stretchable and metallic luster Sn in this invention
The thin film 30 can be formed by conventionally known thin film forming methods such as vacuum evaporation, sputtering, and ion plating. (Comparative example) In order to confirm the effect of this idea, a thickness of 12 μm was measured.
A vapor-deposited film was prepared by vacuum-depositing Al and Sn to a thickness of 450 Å on one side of a polyester film. Next, add a vapor-deposited film to a length of 12
Samples for testing were prepared by cutting into pieces with a width of 15 mm and a width of 15 mm. Next, each test sample was stretched in the length direction and the gloss state at that time was observed. The results were as follows.

[Table] (Effects of the invention) This invention adopted a stretchable and metallic luster Sn thin film as the metal thin film of the transfer material for in-mold molding. Since the Sn thin film, which is stretchable and has metallic luster, is elongated, there are almost no cracks that occur in the Al vapor deposited layer. As a result, there is no whitening phenomenon in appearance, and the Sn thin film has metallic luster. It has excellent retention properties and has almost no decrease in metallic luster.
